"This was a very nice place to shake off the jet-lag after our long international flights from the U.S. and then, at the end, to regroup after 9 nights in the national parks."

"An oasis in the middle of Kigali.

"A fine higher-end option in Kigali.
Well located in sprawling Kigali, within walking distance of at least one good restaurant and short driving distance of the Genocide Memorial.

"The Serena was a nice 'multi-national' style hotel. The Restaurant and bar had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and gardens.
The staff were helpful and friendly.

"Very short stop over before our flight the next morning. Didn't really use the facilities. Lovely pool and bar area, food excellent and fairly priced. Rooms comfortable however air conditioning a bit noisy. 10-15 minute drive from the airport.
