"This hotel was recommended to me by Expert Africa as I had a day and one night in Kigali before leaving for Ruhengeri. Serena is a very nice, high-end hotel with great service. However, there may be lower priced hotels that Expert Africa could suggest for a single night's stay."

Well located in sprawling Kigali, within walking distance of at least one good restaurant and short driving distance of the Genocide Memorial.

"The Serena was a nice 'multi-national' style hotel. The Restaurant and bar had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and gardens.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
