"Sensual Africa"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 27 Apr 2014 and 14 May 2014
"Wonderful trip characterised by unique sights, smells and sounds in a series of fabulous environments. Many stand-out moments including the red dunes, the flight to Damaraland via Swarkopmund (sp?), the swamps of Okavango and the great people every where (notably at all of the camps). We loved the sense of optimism evident in Namibia and the ambition for the country to change from being an underdeveloped country today to becoming a developed nation by 2030!

Could'nt have been better! Well done Expert Africa! Simon and Niamh...Melbourne

"My Apr 2014 trip"

I visited Namibia between 24 Apr 2014 and 4 May 2014
"Very good. Well organised with good transport arrangements, connections and choice of accommodation.

Johannesburg airport transfers were slow and tedious, unnecessarily bureaucratic with disinterested staff mostly. Will avoid this airport where possible in future.

Use of a 4x4 recommended for driving on gravel roads, with two spare tyres." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip

"Our Namibian adventure - April 2014"

I visited Namibia between 12 Apr 2014 and 28 Apr 2014
"Any journey to the wilderness will bring adventures, some pleasant whilst other experiences are less so. Nothing can be guaranteed, but being prepared and being able to adapt is key to having an enjoyable time, whatever the circumstances.

So, the few problems we encountered during our 14 day stay in Namibia pale into insignificance compared to the spectacular scenery, outstanding guiding and helpful staff. Our holiday will be memorable for many years to come for all the postive things we saw, did and learned.

Tracy at Expert Africa listened to our brief and was patient in arranging and rearranging our itinerary to make our trip feasible." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"Two week self-drive in March"

I visited Namibia between 7 Mar 2014 and 23 Mar 2014
"This is the best time of year to visit! Many lodges are nearly empty and you benefit from personal attention.

We decided to take a risk on the rain in early March and while there were one or two thunderstorms we had absolutely no problems on the roads. I would encourage anyone who is considering it to rent a 4x4 and take the plunge. The gravel roads are very easy to drive on, very well maintained and gloriously empty most of the time.

Game drives are fun, but we went for the smaller wildlife and the wide open spaces and we weren't disappointed.

Very friendly people everywhere.

Take some time to walk around Windhoek if you can; it's worth a day at least." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"My Feb 2014 trip"

I visited Namibia between 20 Feb 2014 and 4 Mar 2014
"I had a great time, thanks largely to Maruska's excellent planning :-). The combination of the fly-in safari and the self-drive trip in central Namibia allowed me to experience a fairly wide swathe of the country, including some amazing animals and birds and countryside, and to try out various hostelries.

I met some very interesting people and also thoroughly enjoyed the road trip on my own. The car went very well and I had no trouble finding my way around. Thank you for providing the map with all my stop-overs marked on it; that was very helpful.

The next trip I plan in Africa, you will be the first people I call. Thanks again!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"My Feb 2014 trip"

I visited Namibia between 8 Feb 2014 and 21 Feb 2014
"We had a great trip.

it all went very smoothly and the accommodation was excellent.

The driving was not as bad as we had expected and were usually at our destination by about 2pm.We had one puncture caused by a nail in the tyre but this was found during our day at Erongo and one of the staff there helped us change the wheel . It was then straightforward to have the tyre repaired in Omaruru.

Highlights were the dunes, seeing rhinos at the waterhole at Okaukuejo and the sundowner walks at Erongo.
