"Elegant Guest House review"

1 night Arrived 26 Apr 2014
"The Elegant Guest House was a perfect stop-over at the end of our Namibian travels. The rooms, although small, our clean and well equipped and thought out with a good hot shower.

The breakfast was elegantly served with a good choice of cereals, cold meat & cheeses and hot selection. We were most impressed with the faultless arrangements for booking dinner and shuttle to and from the restaurant." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Nice Place"

1 night Arrived 1 Jan 2014
"As before [Ed: see their earlier review, below] it was a very good place to stay before leaving Windhoek.

We were able to eat at Joes Beergarden which was a short safe walk from the guesthouse. This is worth a visit and an institution ! You need a large appetite !" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in South Africa

"Elegant Guesthouse just ok"

1 night Arrived 18 Dec 2013
"I wasn't blown away by this place. Rooms were small, pool was dirty, safe didn't work.

The hostess was present when we arrived - but was there in the morning - lovely, wonderful helpful lady - who fixed everything sharpish. Would not stay here again" See all these reviews: 6n in Namibia; 3n in Mozambique; 2n in South Africa; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Excellent Value"

1 night Arrived 18 Dec 2013
"We were surprised by this accommodation as it was classed as budget but we found it really good. Clean, compact with good facilities and an excellent WiFi connection. Certainly very good for a quick one night stay at the end or beginning of a trip.

Breakfast was basic but quite adequate and the staff were very helpful all the time. We had a slight problem with contacting Budget for our car and the receptionist there was very helpful and did this for us .Well done Elegant Guesthouse." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in South Africa

"Did I throw out directions to location? Had a bit of trouble finding it.

Airport Lodge between Windhoek and airport would be more appropriate option for early flights." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Comfortable and Convenient"

2 nights Arrived 16 Oct 2013
"This was our second stay here after a gap of three years. It is an ideal place to begin or end your tour of this stunning country.

Very easy to find in Klein Windhoek, one of best areas of this very small capital city. Most guests stay only one night but this time we stayed for two as we wanted to do a tour of the city (not really much to see in all honesty - the highlight was a visit to the township of Katatura and it's market with a guide). Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are efficient and friendly. Breakfast is adequate. Secure parking. Only a couple of minutes drive to the famous Joe's Beerhouse restaurant. Free wi-fi in the public area. This guesthouse has a lot going for it and is recommended." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia
