"Zebra River Lodge review"
It is a bit daunting to be in the middle of a desert, miles from anywhere, in a car best suited for Oxford Street!
Zebra River Lodge was wonderful. Marianne and Gail made us very welcome. Wonderful food, some very interesting walks, a comfortable room and long evenings, talking, singing songs and generally relaxing. Highly recommended." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia
"Zebra River Lodge review"
Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly owners and staff and good food. Helpfully confirmed our flights. Good library.
Accommodation good (we were up the hill with splendid views) tho' some of the rooms in the main building seemed to lack views and "character"." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

With Rob working towards his pilot's license for tourist trips, this will be an additional draw (if one was needed) to staying here.
Thanks for the memorable visit.
(We managed to catch the Rugby World Cup final after all - one of the guides at Kulala took me to the staff quarters where they had a TV. Likewise Dave and Angela managed to see it at Sesriem where a TV was brought outside)." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Relax at Zebra River Lodge"
Sundowner trip disappointing. [ Ed: these travellers were disappointed that a sundowner trip wasn’t possible to do that day; this was because the owner, Rob, who normally conducts these trips himself, was not available! ]
Terrible drive along a very rocky road and not too much to see. Really a stop for hikers, which we are not, but we knew that in advance. Nevertheless a very relaxing stopover and we did manage a walk to Gail's cave!" See all these reviews: 22n in Namibia

"Stunning location"
Unfortunately I fell and broke my wrist on the morning of our departure. Rob and Marianne were very kind and helpful and were happy for us to extend our stay if I felt unable to travel. Decided to carry on to Desert Lodge" See all these reviews: 19n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa

"AMAZING SETTING AND ACCOMODATION"
OUR ROOM WAS GORGEOUS AND CAVE-LIKE, BUT THE OTHER WAS "NORMAL" AND THE CHILDREN FELT SHORT-CHANGED!
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND VERY GENEROUS.
THE TRIP TO THE SPRINGS WAS A HIGHLIGHT, BUT WE WERE CHARGED FOR 6 ADULTS, WHICH MADE IT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WE WERE EXPECTING." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
