"Wonderful lodge - cannot fault anything"

2 nights Arrived 23 Nov 2015
"One of the three highlights in terms of where we stayed during our trip. Little Kulala is excellently located, and we had the most private cottage, the concept of the massive deck area and interiors is wonderful, and we also enjoyed a sleep on the roof bed under the stars, with the full moon.

The staff were incredible - welcoming, friendly, helpful, with an excellent sense of humour, those to mention especially were Andrew, Ingrid, Rosa, Eduard, and our guide Chris. The activities were excellent, perfectly organised, both the two sundowners and the trip to Sossusvlei.

Definitely recommended!" See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"A desert gem"

2 nights Arrived 10 Sep 2015
"The interior design of this desert lodge is a charming mix of ethnic African and comfort. We were warmly welcomed and it was a good choice for our first stay on our Namibian self drive holiday.

If anything we found the service a little overwhelming as there were more staff than guests but this is perhaps a little churlish as everyone was helpful and informative.

The food is excellent and our guided trips were very good as well." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 7n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia; 2n in South Africa

"Little Kulala - top notch base for Sossuvlei"

2 nights Arrived 26 Jul 2015
"Little Kulala is a smart, modern resort. We arrived having just completed a 3 day walk, camping out under the stars so felt a little scruffy but were soon put at our ease.

Little Kulala is all-inclusive which we didn't realise beforehand so all meals, drinks and activities are included. We were assigned a guide and we agreed an itinerary for our 2 night stay. Of course this included visiting Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and climbing one of the Dunes but also included a nature drive and quad biking near the lodge (not on the dunes!). Little Kulala is lucky to have private access to Sossusvlei so do not be put off by how far it is from the main gate.

The level of service is excellent and the food is healthy and delicious. A highly recommended place to stay and be well looked after." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia

"Little Kulala review"

2 nights Arrived 31 Jan 2015
"Great welcome from Andrew who explained how everything worked, the maids whisked away our laundry and returned it promptly.

Willem was an interesting and helpful guide and took us for Sundowners and for sunrise over the dunes. Good food, choice of fish or meat which was good.

Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the shade." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"A breathtaking lodge that we'll never forget."

2 nights Arrived 18 Nov 2014
"Little Kulala is a very special place to stay. It's pretty expensive but we felt that the cost was justified by the lodge's location, décor and food. The dinners we had were some of the best we had throughout our honeymoon. The sundowners were spectacular, and the sand dunes absolutely amazing. The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful.

One thing it would have been good to know (or have highlighted) was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Most of the time this wasn't a problem, but in the middle of the day between activities it was difficult to get any respite from the heat," See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 4n in Botswana

"Little Kulala review"

2 nights Arrived 21 Jul 2014
"Little Kulala is a great location to visit Sossuvlei and the sand dunes of the Namib desert The scenery is stunning and the camp is beautifully presented to take full advantage.

Game viewing is limited - you will see plenty of Oryx but not much else although we did come across a side winding adder in the dunes. At night it is amazingly quiet and peaceful. Each lodge has a roof terrace and it is possible to sleep in the open, which we did but note that at this time of year (July) it gets very cold at night and into the morning.

The camp was well run. The guides were helpful and pleasant. Likewise the food, general areas of the camp and the laundry service were all very good." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Little Kulala review"

2 nights Arrived 4 Jul 2014
"We had a lovely time at little Kulala - it's a beautiful location with great staff. It was a pity it was too cold and windy to use the outdoor spaces as much as we would have liked - the terrace and roof area of the tent were very attractive places to sit.

I was a bit confused by the room to room massage service - it was unclear if it was included in the price and the lady taking bookings behaved quite strangely when I said I didn't want to book one (looked at me as if I was crazy and then started explaining what it was all over again - all I had said was "no thank you" which shouldn't have been too hard to understand....).

The highlight of the activities was driving through and climbing up the red sand dunes, and the quad biking was also fun." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

"Little Kulala review"

2 nights Arrived 23 Jun 2014
"Very luxurious lodge with excellent service all round. Fantastic location and high quality food. Really liked the evening entertainment provided by the floodlit area around the watering hole attracting visitors whilst dining and when our guide took us scorpion hunting before dinner, equipped with UV light.

The dunes were obviously the reason we were there and our activities there did not disappoint." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia
