One Forty Eight is a stylish guest house in the quiet suburbs of Nairobi
Inside the main house is very stylish...
with tasteful touches.
Inside is a large dining table ...
and a fully stocked bar.
Outside is a large covered veranda....
with more seating...
overlooking the garden.
The food at One Forty Eight is very good
and tasty.
Breakfast is a selection of fruit and cereals...
enjoyed outside on the veranda.
and the coffee is good too!
Upstairs are four bedrooms - the master room...
and en-suite bathroom.
two further bedrooms...
each with its own style.
There is also a room in the attic which is suitable for children.
In the gardens is the converted former artists studio.
At the far end is another stylish and comfortable lounge...
and dining area, for guests staying in the studio rooms and apartments.
Stairs lead from here up to the two studio rooms...
each with its own en-suite bathroom
There are also three duplex apartments with a lounge on the ground floor...
as well as a small bathroom.
A staircase leads from here ....
