"An excellent holidy which exceeded our expectations. Having been to Kenya/Tanzania we were impressed by the variety of wildlife, including birds that we saw.

Was particulalry impressed with the support and aid given to me in all the camps as I was in a leg plaster. Every effort was made to make me comfortable and see to any needs I required. A big thank you to them all, Lucy included for their care, sympathy and understanding." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari

"Amazing Kwando safari camps"

I visited Botswana between 14 Nov 2007 and 24 Nov 2007
"We had an amazing time. Everything was perfect. Not only were all aspects of the camps great we also met some lovely people also on holiday from different countries.

As mentioned perviously [Ed: in the reviews, see below!] the comment on the food was not a negative one just a suggestion as we like to try local/different food when we are on holiday. We appreciate to logisics of getting the food to the camps.

I think Botswana has really spolit us for a safrai holiday and will definalty look to return to another area of the county in the future." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari

"Very satisfactory trip"

I visited Botswana between 10 Nov 2007 and 25 Nov 2007
"The trip was fantastic but the return journey rather long. I don't know why but it seemed even better then last time. Maybe it was because we rebelled and refused to get up at 05.00 and just relaxed in the camp.

Thanks again for a great holiday. We will probably book the same camps for next year except Moremi, perfect, but explanation to follow.

Incidentally we met a young English couple at Nxabega who had booked 'a holiday of a lifetime' through Thompsons. All their connections and bookings were up the shoot. We told them who to book through in their next lifetime." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Botswana safari

"Thanks Susannah"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 9 Nov 2007 and 4 Dec 2007
"Susannah

We left this trip very much in your hands, and you found a great rhythm to the whole trip. The way that we were introduced to each country, the variety of experiences, the fitting of the camps to our style of travel -- it felt like you knew us intimately, and understood us completely.

We just can't express our joy in taking this trip. There were some parts that could have been better, and other parts that were life experiences. As a 25-day trip to Africa, we couldn't have done it better ourselves, even had we taken a year to plan it.

"African Adventure"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 7 Nov 2007 and 2 Dec 2007
"A thoroughly enjoyable trip wich on the whole was well organised.

The transfers between camps were efficient and well timed with the exception of the transfer from Muchenje to Linyanti. We had to be out of our room by 10am and then wait around until 12.30 to drive for our flight. That left us a little short of time on arrival at Linyanti an earlier flight would have been better." "A magical first trip to Africa"

I visited Botswana between 6 Nov 2007 and 18 Nov 2007
"The trip was wonderful in most every way. We fell in love with Botswana and its beauty.

Our camps were great; Lucy did a terrific job in helping us come up with a diverse selection of camps, despite our rather late booking. And, she was a great help to my sister and her companion when their US flights delayed their arrival in Africa.

Kudos to Lucy and her other colleagues who helped us out along the way!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 5 on a Botswana safari
