"My Jul 2024 Luangwa trip"
Everything went smoothly and the trip was just as we expected.
This safari experience, in both the south and north, was very special. All the staff were very welcoming and Vel immediately made us feel at home.
As we moved from camp to camp we found each guide and team to be extremely knowledgeable. We learnt such a lot and saw such a lot and, although we frequently got things wrong, Amon was very patient and always thanked us for trying!
We had everything provided for a seamless stay in all the camps and needn't have brought hand-wash, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, washing powder and insect repellent - and water bottles.
The food in each camp was amazing. So much choice and always freshly prepared. The garden at Tafika has inspired us to try our hand at growing sweet
Our thanks to everyone for such a memorable trip.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service: Not really. We could only think that perhaps knowing about the toiletries provided would have saved us weight in our luggage for the RAS flight. Not a big deal!" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zambia safari
"My Jun 2024 South Luangwa trip"
The fact there was a maximum of 4 persons per vehicle was a big plus point for us. We would particuarly commend Megan who was always cheerful patient and enthusiastic when finalising our schedule and answering our many queries.
All the arrangements worked seamlessly, a great credit to her organisation. Her considerable knowledge of Zambia gave us great confidence that we were booking the right trip and that confidence was fully borne out in practice.
The only downside is how to choose another safari holiday that will live up to these standards. All our expectations were met and in many cases exceeded.

"My Jun 2024 trip"
We enjoyed the ethos of Remote Africa Safaris very much. Good camps and staff and a lovely remote feel.
The wildlife in north luangwa is skittish and elusive. But we enjoyed the walking very much, and the more prolific and habituated wildlife of the South Park.
We enjoyed the RAS flights with Lian very much. He is very personable as well as a good pilot and a great asset to RAS." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari
"My Jun 2024 trip"
Two different style new camps this visit and both were excellent. We twice had a morning walk - as in past visits - and every time we learn yet more fascinating detail about ecology as well as animals, and hear, see smell and feel more of Luangwa, and recommend any visitor to take a walk. It's also safer than the roads of Sussex.....
Our 2 adult daughters joined us for the first time. They were blown away by the whole thing. Even after all our visits here, we are ever more impressed by the guides at every camp we stay in. They drive very skilfully and carefully for our comfort and safety, while scanning the landscape near and far, the sky above, the dust below for animal tracks, and conversing amiably as they do so. Then they not only spot something far away, or half hidden, or in deep shade - they will often anticipate the animal's next move and go to the perfect place to see it emerge from the bush and for us to observe. They are brilliant in Luangwa. Zambia takes a lot of time to reach, but well worth the effort.
Two years ago we had our final trip to Luangwa. Then this year (pensioners of 77) our final final trip, and one to savour till we are no longer able to make another.
Never say never? Perhaps....." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

All the camps were very good, but the new Mwamba gets the gold medal.
Thanks very much to Lucy for putting it together. Looking forward to the next one." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari
"Our June 2024 trip to LZ and SL"
This was a special trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and she delivered on all counts - we were able to get the chalets of our choice, were treated to a couple of romantic private dinners at Old Mondoro and Tafika, and had amazing guides at all our camps.
A trip we will hold close to our hearts forever!" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari
"Jun 2024 South Luangwa trip"
The choice of camps and sequence proved to be ideal, not much I would change there. I'd love to return to South Luangwa one day - if I do, there are so many other parts of the park to experience, but it would be a tough choice to avoid returning to any of the places I visited this time." "My Jun 2024 trip"
Very friendly and relaxed experience, less commercial and crowded than Tanzania and Kenya.
Visited the Lower Zambezi and South and North Luangwa parks and especially loved North Luangwa which is still an incredibly unspoiled and wild place. A real wilderness experience !
I loved the abillity to do long walking safaris mixed with more traditional game drives and boat/canoe safaris.
Exceptional guiding and overall great game viewing with the highlight being 3 consecutive days of watching a pack of 17 wild dogs hunting/killing buffalo, waterbuck and impala." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari
