"southern safari"

I visited Tanzania between 25 Sep 2010 and 8 Oct 2010
"Going to Ruaha first was better in terms of internal flights (especially for someone who gets travel sick). If we had realised how far away Jongomero was from the plains in Ruaha, we would have done two camps here instead of in the Selous (as these are all close together). This meant that we did not get a chance to see cheetah, which I had specifically enquired about. This in addition to our experience at Selous Impala camp, slightly marred our experience, but in general, it was as we expected.

There were no night drives in the Selous, contrary to what I was told.

There is apparently now an early morning flight to Dar from Selous which connects to the BA flight, obviating the need for an overnight stay in Sar.

"I planned it as a trip of a lifetime and thanks to Expert Africa, Claire Scott, and other members of the team so it proved to be just that. Now I have the 'bug' to do another trip.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Just one, a bit nit picking, but your superb wallet would have been even better if it had wrist strap attached as it would save fishing it out of the hand luggage.

This traveller later commented on his guide in Rwanda:

Kamanzi Aloys was great with his knowledge from football, Rwanda history and the local flora & fauna. Plus his driving skills were 1st class if you have experience the roads and the tracks you will understand." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 5 on a Tanzania safari

"Wonderful African safari"

I visited Tanzania between 21 Sep 2010 and 1 Oct 2010
"From the moment of contacting Expert Africa we felt in very good hands, Ellie was wonderful and sorted out the perfect safari holiday for us. Her recommendations turned out to be the perfect combination and we are still 'coming down' from the whole experience.

For us Africa is a magical place, and the whole tented safari experience exceeded our expectations totally. We will be back to talk to you again! Thank you.

"Summary of Trip to Tanzania"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 15 Sep 2010 and 26 Sep 2010
"Couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon.

Location, food and service was truely amazing (you definately get what you pay for) and the ease of transfers was great. Expert Africa were fantastic and spent a lot of time discussing what we were looking for which helped greatly in our decision on which country and locations to go to.

Claire also was not pushy when I advised her that I was going to book the flights myself and was also very comforting when I was worried about the BA strikes. Thank you so much. Only improvement could be the price

"A wonderful adventure"

I visited Tanzania between 28 Aug 2010 and 5 Sep 2010
"This was a wonderful experience.

We could only manage one week away and the balance of walking/camping to time in Sand River and Beho Beho was just right. Beho Beho sets the standard for safari camps.
