"A great start to our first holiday in Namibia"
We were very impressed with the welcome we were given and the hospitality throughout our one night stay here. The food was excellent and it was great to be able to get so close to the cheetahs on the morning drive we had with a very knowledgable and friendly guide in the enclosure." "Rooms with a view"
Silas and the team really made us welcome and we had lots of fun. Other guests we met were delightful and helpful, especially those that had been in country for much longer so had good advice to offer.
The activities were good, although the visit to the cheetahs was rather artificial - three young males just around the corner and a female in a cage.
Our only real disappointment was not seeing the meercats - perhaps they were on holiday?

The rooms were well appointed and the buffet style meal was also excellent. a very pleasant lounge/bar area to relax in the evening.

One point to be aware of is the freezing cold nights - there is a hot water bottle and blankets are provided in the Dune Chalets, but you still need to wrap up warm! The Straw Bale Chalets are a much warmer option." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

Beware sand dunes can be very cold at night - it was -3 during the night. Heaters kept the room bearable during the night!
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely lounge area with good fire which was good to meet and chat to other guests. Appreciated own table for meals (other lodges tend to put guests on same table, despite language differences). Interesting cheetah information and visit in closed compound."
