"comfortable base for Sossuvlei"
The position of Hoodia is very attractive and we saw some amazing thunderstorms, rainbows and had great views of the mountains. The hut was comfortable but as we had the place to ourselves the main terrace overlooking the riverbed was our main focus." See all these reviews: 28n in Namibia

"Lovely lodge in the desert"
Our charming guide was very knowledgeable about the unusual wildlife and holding the web of a white lady spider that he had dug up from the sand was incredible. A visit to the largest sand dunes in the world and the dead vlei is not to be missed." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

"Great day in the dunes at Hoodia"
We also did the sundowner, another great experience with drinks and snacks and lanterns made from candles in paper bags - very atmospheric.

"Brilliant"
The trip to Sossulvlei was outstanding (I never thought I'd get to the top of the dune but was so pleased that I did!) and finished off with a veritable banquet with sparkling wine set amongst the dunes. Accommodation and the main building are superb, as were the meals.
