"Namibia, Lets keep it a secret."

I visited Namibia between 7 Dec 2007 and 19 Dec 2007
"Our trip was excellent, a real adventure. My partner who hadn't been before was blown away by the scenery the animals the people.

For me it was my second trip and even better than the first time. We were sad to move on and promised ourselves that we would return again.

I am very pleased with the service from Expert Africa and have recommended it to friends." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip

I visited Namibia between 14 Nov 2007 and 2 Dec 2007
"We are glad that we went and most of it we enjoyed but as you have probably guessed 2500 kms of gravel roads in 18 days is just too much. The long distances, the gravel roads, the lack of mobile phone coverage and the sense of isolation did give some cause for concern.

We did it - and that gives considerable satisfaction and a real sense of fulfilment, but next time? Give me a Toyota Land Cruiser!!

The clients need to be more fully informed about the roads, the distances and the general isolation experienced. For those people whose only experience of long distance travel is the M4 to Birmingham the roads of Namibia come as a bit of a shock.

Apart from that, it was a holiday of real treats and delights." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip

"Fabulous trip to Namibia, plenty of memories"

I visited Namibia between 9 Nov 2007 and 25 Nov 2007
"Namibia is a wonderful place and we had a very special time, it was great to get some real experienced information from Tracey and to have Chris's guide book. Very relaxing with some wonderful memories of some truly lovely experiences.

Would highly recommend sea kayaking with the seals in Walvis Bay with Jeanne, scenic flight from Swakop, Desert Tour (to find the little 5) in Swakop, Etosha, Huab Lodge, Onguma, Kulala and Soussosvlei." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"A super experience"

I visited Namibia between 5 Nov 2007 and 22 Nov 2007
"We had a superb trip to Namibia seeing nearly all that we missed on a previous visit. Our eyes were opened to the diversity of the country and we feel privileged to have travelled through the places and met the people that we did.

All the accomodation was good, some moreso than others but in general the level of service was high in all instances.

Value for money could not be bettered.

Distances to be covered were well within our capacity and presented no problems. We found several interesting side roads to take especially the D707 from Sinclair Guest Farm to Aus (recommended by Peter and very picturesque} and the road from Bagatelle to Kalkrand {through the dunes}. Amazingly empty roads made driving a pleasure.

The friendliness of the local people and their helpfulness was evident to see and reassuring when you are travelling in a foreign country.

Only one incident with a female police officer jarred. We were stopped outside Otjirawongo for speeding and were told that a fine would have to be paid of N$100 but that she did not have any receipts so we would have to return to Otavi, an hours drive back.As I was not keen to drive back I elected to pay her without a receipt but only had N$70 in small notes. This she accepted without turning a hair. There was no ticket produced so I can only assume she made a profit! We were later told that the police only tend to operate speed traps within 20 km of towns so why go back to Otavi?

That aside we would like to thank Sabina for all her help and hard work in making our trip the success it was.

The company would certainly get a glowing recommendation from us if we were to be asked" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Very well organised"

I visited Namibia between 3 Nov 2007 and 17 Nov 2007
"The trip as a whole was excellent.

Tracy gave us a very good idea of what to expect and there were no surprises. It was very easy to drive round and the 'notes for travellers', accommodation vouchers and maps made for a hassle-free trip. It seemed everything had been thought of.

Tracy's recommendations of where to stay and what to see and do were spot on and just right for us. (For example we were very pleased we were on half board basis at most of the places so we were independent and able to our own thing. Had we been fba at most places, we'd have felt obliged to do trips and activities that often we were much happier doing ourselves.)" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

I visited Namibia between 18 Oct 2007 and 27 Oct 2007
"Overall we had a fabulous holiday. Were it not for the car hire issues we would have had very little complaint and very many positive things to say about Namibia as a country to visit.

As an introduction to Africa for our children (7,10 and 13) it was perfect. They missed a day of school to go there - I think they traded that day for a year's worth of "real" education. Every guide we had could not have wanted to share more and we all got so much out of it. A good bonding experience for a family in and age when we are all to busy leading fast and furious lives.

Encourage other families to do the same. They won't regret it.

I can only compliment Tracy on how she dealt with our trip from start to finish. She could not have been more helpful and I will happily recommend Expert Africa to anyone wanting to go there. Many thanks and until next time." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip
