"Very good guides, Rodney and Ziggy.

Camp was very basic, felt that with a bit more planning, a bucket shower could be added!" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Palmwag Sleep-out review"

"The Palmwag Sleepout was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia.

Rodney and Ziggy (cousins or nephew and uncle; we couldn’t make out which) were our guides and very knowledgeable, very good company and extremely good hosts. The journey to the camp was very bumpy! but wonderfully interesting and we had a lovely sundowner on a kopje with fabulous views en route to our camp.

A braai supper, then cooked breakfast were organised and served by Rodney and Ziggy and we all (4 of us; two couples) had a very good and memorable time. Don’t book this if you’re after high end luxury. This is camping (with beds and a chemical loo plus great guides).

We loved it." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Palmwag Sleep-out review"

1 night Arrived 19 Jul 2017
"Glad we didn't have to stay at the Lodge itself, which seemed (over-)crowded, noisy, with 2 small pools and rooms/chalets with hardly any privacy. The restaurant however looked nice (the snackbar didn't, and was very expensive).

We immediately took off on our "under canvas sleep-out"-trip with our friendly guide and his assistant : a wonderful experience that started with a wonderful sundowner in the middle of the savannah and continued with a deliciously cooked dinner under the stars at a perfectly set table perched between our tents (ready made on arrival).

Tents had everything, from nice bed-linen to mosquito repellent, soap bars etc. and even little canvas hot water basins at which you could wash yourself in the morning: this is glamping!! We all loved it." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia
