"Fulfilled all our expectaions"

I visited Namibia between 19 May 2008 and 31 May 2008
"There is no comments section for internal flights between camps. [Ed: this refers to the 'feedback form' which these trvellers filled out about their trip] These were fine and we had no problems. Our pilot for one of our flights, Eric (or Erich) was particularly helpful.

Really enjoyed the whole trip. The suggestions by Expert Africa were all good, as was the time spent at each location.

We would not do it differently if we planned it now!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip

"Please can we go again"

I visited Namibia between 9 May 2008 and 25 May 2008
"We didn't want to come home, we want to go back, we already have ideas and have started saving - what more can we say.

Things we'd do differently - put in a three night stay somewhere. We were really please only to be staying one night in Swakopmund, it was definitely out of season.

Something to consider is to take Air Nambia flight home to Europe (Frankfurt) and do hop to UK from there rather than Windhoek/Jo'burg/Home. Gives a longer last day and the Air Namibia flight was nicer.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

We found the service very personal - it took sometime to sort but was well worth it in the end - this is one of your strengths as a company because you do care where your customers go, don't lose sight of this." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"Marvellous Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 9 May 2008 and 23 May 2008
"For a first trip to Namibia with the desire to see what we wanted to see, this couldn't have been any better (unless it had been twice as long, then we could have spent twice as long in each place).

We are left with a desire to go back and spend longer at a few choice places - anywhere other than Swakopmund! - and try a few others e.g. Caprivi Strip. The lodges exceeded our expectations and even Okaukeujo turned out better than we hoped.

The biggest impression was made by all the staff at the lodges. As the public face of Namibia they have a lot to be proud of and could teach hotel staff around the world a thing or two about hospitality. Even car refuelling was a delight with happy singing windscreen washers.

The trip went without a hitch, so Expert Africa's organisation was excellent." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip

"Holiday of a lifetime"

I visited Namibia between 3 May 2008 and 22 May 2008
"We had a wonderful time in Namibia. The country is amazing and so are the inhabitants.

We found it very safe and stayed in amazing places there. We will definitely go back when we get the chance.

We particularly appreciated the info pack given and Chris' guide book which we ended up using most of the time." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip

"We had a wonderful holiday."

I visited Namibia between 21 Apr 2008 and 3 May 2008
"Apart from the problem with Europcar, our trip was truly memorable. We have travelled extensively and Namibia currently holds the number one spot.

The overall level of service was excellent as was the organisation." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Fantastic and memorable Namibia !"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 16 Apr 2008 and 10 May 2008
"A truly memorable trip, everything we could have wanted - the lodges, the activities, the food, the sights ! Hire car was trouble-free, and all the roads were in excellent condition despite recent exceptional rainy season.

The Mainliner bus from Livingstone to Windhoek was a convenient link from the Falls, and is recommended for adventurous travellers, but not for those who demand to travel 5-star ! The staff were helpful and very pleasant.....but it was a LONG way - 22 hours altogether.

The advice and guidance from Expert Africa staff, especially Gwynneth and Chris, went a long way in ensuring a successful trip. So many wonderful highlights, it would be invidious to name one above others.

We just wish all travel opeators could be as efficeint, obliging, knowledgable and 'common sense' as Expert Africa ! This is our second trip with you, and we have already recommended you to other potential travellers." Read full review: 24 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"How many superlatives can you fit on one line"

I visited Namibia between 4 Apr 2008 and 23 Apr 2008
"It was wondeful; great; fantastic; marvellous; and terrific!

The people in general were very good (minor hassle from the gem sellers in Uis), and the service better than expected. The lodges were all quite good, and again exceeded expectation.

I would defintely recommend Namibia to anyone who wants to go, and can also vouch for most of the overnight stays we did. Just remember to book a 4 wheel drive car!" Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"fab time lots of work done will go back"

I visited Namibia between 28 Mar 2008 and 16 Apr 2008
"i got all work done and loved almost every minute.sceleton coast camp has problems/ wolwedan`s lodges need update but all that is a detail compared with the pleasures and beauty one gets from this journey

Namibia private guided safari section of trip - great guide [paulo] wonderful cook [rodney] they could not have been better.
they made my stay as comfortable as possible under the difficult rainy circumstances but the rains storms very unforgettable and for me a great visual experience. lots of painting under a special little tent that served as an outside studio.

paulo and Rodney were the best and of great help
paulo is very recommendable and he is now training for a national guide position.he deserves lots of attention. very knowledgeable and soft spoken, full of patience and attention to detail. he made my first 6 days extremely productive and creative

the dune world deserve more than a few days and all drives were spectacular at different times of day dawn and dusk" Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip

"Couldn't ask for more..."

I visited Namibia between 19 Mar 2008 and 3 Apr 2008
"To be honest, we really don't think Gwynneth could have done a better job. We booked the trip late so there was a lot of fiddling around with dates etc, but everything ended up exactly as we wanted. All of your recommendations for places to stay were spot on.

It was very reassuring that Gwynneth has stayed in so many of the place, so advice was very accurate. In fact, we've already recommended expertafrica to a friend." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip
