"Nice place for 1 night stay"
We enjoyed the dinner which was served to us in a private room, which was a nice touch; the food was nicely presented but perhaps the quality could have been better (definitely hotter in terms of temperature), bearing in mind that Divava advertises itself as a 5 star location.
It was a nice place to stop over at though but perhaps on the next travel would not be staying there and have chosen a more remote, or more wildlife-based, option." See all these reviews: 6n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa review"
The lounge and dining area played the same old music over and over, I think they only had one recording.
Our dining experience lived up to the rest of the stay with the food being very ordinary.
The rooms had a nice view over the river and the location of this Lodge is superb it is a pity it does not live up to it.
The one highlight was the afternoon boat cruise with our guide John who was knowledgeable and did a great job.
Being close to the Mahango National Park was a plus as this is very worthwhile doing a self drive around here." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 8n in Botswana
"Divava excellence"
We were not told of the cost of the activities on our arrival, so when we did find out it was a bit of a shock.. but in the scheme of things did not detract from our enjoyment of divava one bit. The activities themselves on the river and on land were excellent." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia; 3n in Zambia; 2n in Botswana
"Luxury by the river"
The small game reserve nearby- Mahango- was surprisingly good and we saw lots of wildlife in a few hours of slowly driving around. It was not busy, just a handful of other people there. The river trip is worth the effort, very relaxing and a nice sunset view over the local Popa Falls (more like small rapids than a waterfall).
Note that the Falls were inaccessible when we were there since a new government complex was in the process of being built there.
There was no opt out of the native dancing/singing- not everyone wants to see this. Food was generally good, but like many places they did not cater at all for vegetarians.
Internet available only in the reception area and like most connections in Namibia you can expect only the slowest of connections, but fast enough for our teenage sons to use Facebook etc." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 2n in Zambia
"Stunning vistas at Divava lodge"
Beautiful large individual thatched accommodations all with river views and outside private decks. Bath with a view!
The staff entertained us with their own show of African music.
The lodge is well placed for Mahango game park which is easy to self drive and is a good place to see riverine wildlife.
We enjoyed the sunset cruise to the Popa falls.
Steep steps so not suitable for people with mobility problems." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 8n in Zambia; 2n in Botswana
