"My Feb 2022 trip"

I visited Kenya between 4 Feb 2022 and 18 Feb 2022
"This trip was for our honeymoon and it was perfect!

I usually like to book holidays direct but going through Expert Africa was invaluable - the advice and the value for money very worth it.

The highlight was the safari and Naboisho camp was really something special. We saw everything we could have hoped for, ate fantastic food and had an amazing time. We then moved onto Kinondo Kwetu which is a lovely rustic boutique beach hotel. It’s a stunning setting, with 5* food and amazing staff. I’d highly recommend this trip and we really hope to do it again one day." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a Kenya safari

"My Feb 2022 trip"

I visited Kenya between 2 Feb 2022 and 17 Feb 2022
"Yet another fantastic safari, organised with the usual unsurpassed expertise by Expert Africa. The Kicheche camps are amazing and provide an unforgettable experience with extraordinary concentrations of grazers and predators whilst the little known Kulalu Camp nestling on the banks of the wild Galana River in the hot dry bush country of the coastal belt provides an exciting contrast with different fauna, flora and a wild edge. All the camps I re-visited are just as I remembered them from previous visits with the added bonus of genuine renewed friendships and the usual warm welcomes.

I am always happy to recommend Expert Africa to fellow travellers, and although I generally deal with Richard Trillo I can say that everyone I speak to at Expert Africa is just as friendly and helpful.

A great company with great people! I look forward to planning my next trip!" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 10 on a Kenya safari

"My Jan 2022 trip"

I visited Kenya and 1 other country between 25 Jan 2022 and 9 Feb 2022
"Brilliant.

The trip had been postponed once because of Covid so I'd waited a long time and was in danger of being disappointed but, really, it was much better than I'd hoped or even imagined.

"Our Jan/Feb 2022 trip"

I visited Tanzania and 2 other countries between 24 Jan 2022 and 1 Mar 2022
"We had a fantastic trip covering three East Africa countries, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. We stayed at two camps in each country along with extra days at each end of the trip in Kigali and Dar. Each country is different and has their own culture.

Rwanda was the cleanest country we have ever been to. Even way out from towns people are sweeping the roadsides and trimming vegetation. The Gorillas and Golden Monkeys were great to visit.

Kenya and Tanzania were the greenest countries, recent rains. The quantities of wildlife are incredible. The guides in both countries were excellent and transportation between camps was easy and convenient.

Everywhere we went we felt very welcome.

I visited Kenya between 22 Jan 2022 and 31 Jan 2022
"The trip went very well and Lyndsey's recommendation of Kicheche was a good one.

I especially appreciated her extra effort in altering arrangements to include my friend in the itinerary. Any glitches were small ones." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 8 on a Kenya safari

"Kenya, January-February 2022"

I visited Kenya between 15 Jan 2022 and 2 Feb 2022
"Logistics for travel in Africa can always present their challenges, but when coupled with rapidly changing conditions and regulations in the wake of a pandemic, using a seasoned travel professional to help you piece all the parts of your trip together has never been more critical.

Richard Trillo was extremely responsive to all of our concerns (not to mention more than one panic attack following another sleepless night over whether we’d even be able to take this trip). With the experience and steady guiding hand of Expert Africa, our trip to Kenya, at a time when concerns about COVID continued into a third year, proceeded close to seamlessly. And once in the bush, there were even times when we felt almost a return to a sense of normality.

Thank you for helping us with a vacation that we needed even more desperately than I had imagined.

"Our 2022 Kenya trip"

I visited Kenya between 14 Jan 2022 and 22 Jan 2022
"We've travelled many times with Expert Africa, for very good reason.

Individual members of the team have in-depth knowledge of their countries, and are prepared to take the time to find out exactly where you would like to go and the sort of places that will appeal. This trip was no exception - thank you, Lyndsey!

Despite the pandemic, we were also met with a warm welcome wherever we went in Kenya, making for a relaxing holiday that made all the pre-travel bureaucracy disappear into the background.

"Marvellous post-Covid Kenya"

I visited Kenya between 9 Jan 2022 and 24 Jan 2022
"Absolutely brilliant trip - Jessica went to enormous trouble to cater to our interests - the itinerary worked with clockwork precision and all the places we stayed exceeded our expectations - really the perfect holiday.

Thank you!

"My Jan 2022 trip"

I visited Kenya between 8 Jan 2022 and 24 Jan 2022
"This was our first trip back to Kenya since the start of the COVID lockdown. It was wonderful to return. The Kenyans are taking COVID restrictions more seriously than in the UK and it all felt extremely safe.

If you've never been to Kenya before, you must go. You will not be disappointed. We have travelled to Kenya many times and have always had great experiences. We book our next trip there as soon as we get back.

"Kenya Safari January 2022"

I visited Kenya between 2 Jan 2022 and 18 Jan 2022
"In summary: it was a unique and wonderful trip to Kenya with incredible sightings - one of the very best we've ever had in Africa (and we had many of them !!!)

Of course we had doubts if it was a good idea to travel to Kenya in Corona times but we can say that (only and explicitly just for us!) it was definitely the right decision to travel. Kenya has a relatively low covid incidence (especially in comparison to our country), all staff members of lodges/camps were full vaccinated and wearing masks, using and offering sanitizers when and wherever needed and (most important!) we stayed by far the most time in remote areas and outside of buildings in fresh air.
Because of Covid the lodges and camps had lot of cancellations. Thereby there were only a few guests wherever we stayed - sometimes we were the only ones. Except of our last stay (Amboseli) we always had our "private" game drive vehicle - just the driver guide and the two of us !!!

Although living in Germany we've chosen again Expert Africa as our travel agent because we've had already great experience with them and different team members in planning and organising safaris to different African countries. All team members we were dealing with had great knowledge about the country, lodges, wildlife,... they were responsible for and were so friendly and helpful!

This time Jessica Plumb was our agent and we can't say enough "thank you" to her and all her efforts and patience with all our requests and questions. Even after finishing the booking she was always taking care of us especially in behalf of the always changing rules for Kenya immigration.

As expected the organisation of our trip was perfect, everything worked without any problems, we missed nothing!!

We will came back to Africa - and of course again with the experts of Expert Africa !!!!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Although it sounds like advertising: No - everything is perfect !!!

I loved the old website very much but after a short while I got used to the new one and especially the new wildlife count was very helpful for me in behalf of my expectations!!" Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 16 on a Kenya safari
