"Superb guide and driver, food and staff, excellent. Lots of animal sightings in thick bush in conservancy. Trip to Amboseli excellent. Serious drought South of Nairobi - we saw the effects on some of the animals. - a lesson in the effects of climate change.
Tent basic, as per expectations, but fine and clean. Getting up ready for early morning start a bit tricky in the dark - perhaps we could have done with a bit more light or perhaps learned to switch off solar lamp at night to conserve electricity.
As you warned, Kenya, despite being on the equator, can be chilly. It certainly was. Brilliant that both camps provided heavy Maasi ponchos in the cars - clearly they know that a lot of tourists come lacking sufficient warm layers."

"A marked difference to Selenkay - much greener, less effected by drought.
Appreciated the upgrade. Tent very comfortable. Again, excellent guide and driver. Loads of sightings in the conservancy and big numbers in the Mara. Had hoped to see a river crossing, which didn’t happen on the day we went - but that’s the natural world! We learned to watch animals, particularly cheetahs in a different way - with patience, and allowing drama to unfold with time."

"Beautiful camp in a quieter part of the reserve. George's passion and eagerness to share his vast knowledge of the bush was one of the highlights of the holiday.

The routes through the bush are less marked here and Braston and George's driving on the winding tracks and their eagle eyes helped to make my time very memorable. The genuine warmth of the welcome and the thoroughness with which every need is thought about in advance and catered for is remarkable."

"The most luxurious of the lodges I went to. Beautiful lodge house with infinity pool! And lovely water features. The rooms are beautiful - mine had possibly the largest private bathroom I've ever seen. Hostess Polly a delight.

The crossing of the river into the park made for a spectacular start to a drive. The Park here is a little busier than at some other places. On one occasion we had the experience of being one vehicle among half a dozen surrounding a pride of lions - I guess this is what it's like in some of the more commercially exploited safari parks elsewhere. Having said that, the rest of the time we managed to avoid other people and the walking in the morning was great."

"Bit of a come down after the wonderful Robin Pope Lodges, Everything comfortable but a lot more basic, including the food.

Very accommodating and offered to check in the BA flight which was very helpful."
