"Little Vumbura review"
We particularly appreciated Frank - one of the managers.
Sevara was a superb guide. On one occasion, he spotted lioness tracks which we started to follow. He then noticed zebra tracks alongside. We continued for some time, and finally came across the lioness, her 4 cubs and a half-eaten zebra. Very impressive!" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana

The staff did their best but we felt they required more training/backup from managers.
The guide - Sam - was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our game drives with him." See all these reviews: 12n in Botswana
We were very happy to hear that these travellers had a good first visit to Little Vumbura but disappointed to read that the next experience didn't meet expectations. We do have great confidence in the management and staff of Little Vumbura though and are glad to hear the issues have been dealt with quickly.

All of our meals and "teas" were excellent, and we feel that, overall, it was probably the best food of all three camps. On our third evening, the dinner was served in their boma. They created a special, celebratory atmosphere; the food, service. and attention to detail were wonderful.
The only problem that occurred was the water supply - twice an elephant that roamed the camp broke a pipe. However, they fixed the breaks quickly, and none of them happened while we were showering!" See all these reviews: 8n in Botswana

As with Duma Tau, the game viewing rules made for good game viewing and we saw leopard on three consecutive days again as well as most other game. Would go back!
The 'visitors' to camp (elephant, hippo and kudu) made things 'interesting'!" See all these reviews: 9n in Botswana
"Also a lovely camp"
Our guide was fabulous, but most of other staff not as engaging." See all these reviews: 7n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia
"Little Vumbura review"
In February there was still a lot of water left over from above average summer rains and this prevented the whole area being available to traverse, but the loss of amenity did not restrict us too much - the additional water provided a very different scene for our photography and took us away from some of the traditional photo scenes so giving us pictures of the animals walking and running through water.
The game viewing was still very good (including wild dog on our first game drive) and the bird photography opportunities were excellent." See all these reviews: 14n in Botswana

"Amazing isolation"
The tends were nicely furnished, and the balcony was comfortable and private. The camp felt like part of the wilderness, though it was comfortable. The food was generally excellent, though a few dishes missed the mark. Brunch was a particular highlight as they offered both a full breakfast and substantial lunch options.
The camp managers were very friendly and excellent at facilitating conversation. The bar was always open, and drinks were excellent." See all these reviews: 4n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia
"Excellent camp and safaris"
Our first genuine safari and being in the delta enjoyed the boating aspect of the trip. Would recommend this venue to others." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana; 3n in Zambia; 3n in South Africa
