"We have been very lucky to have done many safaris. This was one of our favourite ones.

There was a lovely contrast between the two camps and game parks. We were also very fortunate to have the same guide, Godwin, with us at Kuro who had been with us 11 years ago taking our family on a week long trip. We loved being with him again.

We saw a huge amount of game and birds in both Parks, but I am not sure if we would go in November again as we were unlucky with the short rains and had rain most days, some of which was torrential!

However, the upside was that there were very few other people around in either Park and we felt, while in Lamai, that we had the Serengeti to ourselves as didn’t see another game truck on one day. We would definitely choose to pick Nomad camps again as they are extremely well run and with great guiding.

"Our first trip to South Africa, and it was a wonderful experience, the whole itinerary worked perfectly.

We made other sightseeing plans independently in Capetown, with no difficulty.

"A very well organised trip (as always). Accommodation and travel times well thought out, unlike one British couple from another well known travel company (high end) who asked to be moved from where they were staying as they said that Lodge had been misrepresented!

I don't know what Tom said to Europcar but their treatment of us was exceptional.

We also appreciated Grace meeting us at the airport and seeing us through.

"This was really our first experience with what I would call luxury travel, and now we know how wonderful it is to have every detail planned, organized and executed perfectly.

The camps that we chose with great advice and suggestions suited us so well, and we loved that the 2 camps we visited were so different from each other. It was a treat to be met at the airport, then have all the other transfers line up with no stress for us at all.

We especially appreciated Jessica's great effort to save us extra expense when our son had to cancel his trip with us due to health issues.
