"Blissful end to the holiday"

3 nights Arrived 25 Sep 2007
"This was a complete change from the safari part of the holiday but the perfect end to our visit to Zambia. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome; they did all possible to make our stay relaxing whilst still doing what we wanted to do in the area. They arranged our visits off-camp to the Falls and we were accompanied by an excellent local guide at all times.

The highlight was the visit to the local village and school, which was a privilege and so interesting.

The accommodation at Siankaba is sublime, with the pleasure of enjoying a luxurious bath after a week on safari being beyond my powers of description! We left the Islands reluctantly - we felt totally rested and loved the location right on the Zambezi which just seems to encourage peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful - mindreaders all!" "A wonderful introduction to Zambia"

2 nights Arrived 11 Aug 2007
"Once we arrived we were delighted with Siankaba - we had to wait for over 4 hrs for our flight and wondered if we would have been better driving up? When you get off a night flight a bit of action would have beenb prefereable to waiting around for all that time. Also we were not met by the Zambian airline rep although we saw other people being met and directed to where they needed to go.

Everything about Siankaba was beyond our expectation. It was VERY cold at night and only one room had electric blankets - the other hot water bottles.

We enjoyed the walk to the village. We were not able to have a go on the canoes (can't remember the proper name) as not enough to go round and another group of 4 had booked them." See all these reviews: 2n in Zambia
