An exceptional family experience.
Zambia between 10 Aug 2007 and 21 Aug 2007
Out trip to the Copper Belt was equally revealing and we were glad that we had chosen to drive that part of the journey as life at the roadside was not to be missed.
All in all we will all be returning - albeit not together! Many thanks for your quideance and suggestions."

Islands of Siankaba
"A wonderful introduction to Zambia"

Kapinga Camp, Zambia (this camp has since closed)
"A very special and unique experience"
Everything about the camp and the experience was superb and unlike any other holiday experience we have had on our many travels.
The wildife and flora \and fauna were excellent and varied and more unusula than we were expecting.
Altogether wonderful for all of us which was interesting in view of our age range! 21 - 60!!!"

Lunga River Lodge, Zambia (this camp has since closed)
"A perfect end to our trip"
Here the guides were very knowledigible and did not have to do managerial tasks at the lodge. This meant the couple running the lodge had more time to spend with the guests. A better balance we felt than Kapinga where 2 people seem to be doing everything.
This lodge is not in the same category as Kapinga with regard to luxury but obviously has a different function as I can see its mostly a stopping off post - but really there is more to it than that and as I say 2 nights would have been good."

Everything about Siankaba was beyond our expectation. It was VERY cold at night and only one room had electric blankets - the other hot water bottles.
We enjoyed the walk to the village. We were not able to have a go on the canoes (can't remember the proper name) as not enough to go round and another group of 4 had booked them."
