Nsefu
"4 glorious days at Nsefu"
4 nights
Arrived
21 Sep 2007
"Nsefu was a complete change from Nkwali, but still fabulous - RPS even made the journey between the 2 exciting and interesting; we memorably saw 6 giant kingfishers and 4 pied ones playing in a small lagoon early that morning.
Once again the accommodation was spotless and, though less spacious than Nkwali, totally functional and perfectly fine. Here we finally saw the leopards and our guide Sebastian couldn't have done more to ensure that we got the best experience at this camp- he even cooked us a wonderful bush breakfast very early once morning!
The food at both Nsefu and Nkwali was just too good! We 'd hoped we might not put on weight this holiday - some hope with RPS doing all they can to feed you up with lovely meals. The final night bush Mongolian barbecue will not only remain in our memories for the wonderful location and surprise element, but also the quality of the food and service."

Islands of Siankaba
"Blissful end to the holiday"
3 nights
Arrived
25 Sep 2007
"This was a complete change from the safari part of the holiday but the perfect end to our visit to Zambia. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome; they did all possible to make our stay relaxing whilst still doing what we wanted to do in the area. They arranged our visits off-camp to the Falls and we were accompanied by an excellent local guide at all times.
The highlight was the visit to the local village and school, which was a privilege and so interesting.
The accommodation at Siankaba is sublime, with the pleasure of enjoying a luxurious bath after a week on safari being beyond my powers of description! We left the Islands reluctantly - we felt totally rested and loved the location right on the Zambezi which just seems to encourage peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful - mindreaders all!"

The accommodation was roomy and comfortable and was everything we could have wished for. The drives were fantastic, with our guide, Brendan, doing everything to ensure that we got the best possible opportunities to see and experience all that was available. We had a ball!
We spent one lovely afternoon in the pool, which added to the feeling of restfulness pervading the whole place. How they achieve this in such a busy schedule is amazing - but we never felt rushed or pressured - the sense of humour of all the staff and commitment to the visitors makes it all such a pleasure."
