"I was supposed to be booked for two nights but was only booked for one. I transferred to another hotel the second night. I am still not entirely clear on what went wrong but Richard and Southern Cross were able to book me into another hotel that was actually closer to Wilson so that part worked out efficiently."

"Everything was great. The staff works hard to make you as comfortable as possible. Moses was an excellent guide. The game drives are a bit shorter here than at other camps that I visited. I saw Craig and many maternal herds. It was amazing! The only suggestion I have concerns the night game drive. I was uncomfortable that the spotter exited the truck at one point; it did not seem an ideal thing to do for his safety. He shined a light at a bush and flushed out a baby gazelle. It ran away and thus lost a safe hiding spot from predators. I would suggest a bit more training for the night drive spotters. I would still return to Tawi though I might skip the night game drives until improvements in training are made."

"I enjoyed learning about the Samburu culture from my guide. I also appreciated my beading session with a local Samburu woman. The Samburu wedding and visit to a Samburu village were very interesting. The landscape is very beautiful. Enjoyed the light plane rides over the mountains! My tip is to ask your guide about the culture - my guide Tingizi was very open - and participate in as many cultural activities as possible."

"Everything was absolutely perfect. Every detail is well thought out for maximum guest comfort. Everyone was so kind. It was fantastic to go off road and observe elephant behavior. My guide Dickson aka Mako taught me a lot about eles. This was my favorite camp."
