The Highlands: picture gallery

The Highlands is named after the beautiful area in which it is located.
Its domed tents are certainly different to other camps!
Inside the stylish furnishings are contemporary and striking...
...with colourful touches.
Log burners heat all the tents and are great focal points...
...although the ceilings are quite interesting too!
The main camp areas are connected by wooden walkways.
Meals are communal in the wood-panelled dining room...
...and breakfast and lunch can be taken outside...
...or dinner privately on special occasions.
You can even have breakfast on the Crater floor...
...or lunch in a secluded spot amongst the trees.
There is a separate tent that houses the bar...
...with a substantial set up!
There is a selection of stylish seating inside...
...and outside, to enjoy the views.
It's a cosy spot to relax after a long day on safari.
The bedroom domes are nestled amongst the trees...
...with lots of privacy, far-reaching views and a wrap-around veranda.
The huge beds are incredibly comfortable...
...with plenty of high quality throws to keep out the cold.
There's a great, snug spot to enjoy the log burner...
...and huge windows to make the most of the views!
Some tents have a mezzanine floor for children...
...where there are two simple, small beds...
...and a bird's eye view of the whole room.
The smart ensuite feels a bit like a Swedish sauna...
...and has a large double shower...
...and a separate loo.
Outside, there is a useful storage cupboard...
...and a seating area (not always wet!)
There is a family tent - a connected double and twin...
...the smaller 'baby dome' has two single beds...
...and a more compact bathroom.
The special honeymoon tent has a bonus feature - a hot tub with a view...
...and the views are incredible - when the clouds clear!
