"Comfortable, friendly, quiet, good shower"

1 night Arrived 13 Aug 2011
"We arrived late in the evening, showered and went straight to bed, then left early the next morning so didn't get to experience much of the hotel.

Our impressions were that the staff was friendly and efficient, the room clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the hot shower was great after being in transit for about 24 hours." See all these reviews: 14n in Tanzania

"What you'd expect from a top business hotel"

1 night Arrived 6 Nov 2010
"Appears to be one of Dar's top business hotels and now owned by the Movenpick group. Service standards excellent as you'd expect.

Air-conditioning not as good or cold as we wanted. For a one night stop before getting the flight home absolutely fine. Great to be able to check-in on-line in the lobby.

We were on a B&B rate but had to leave before before breakfast started at 0630." See all these reviews: 14n in Tanzania

"Royal Palm Hotel review"

1 night Arrived 29 Aug 2009
"All you would expect of an international hotel and quite a culture shock after the bush, the beach and Dar es Salaam outside.

Beware of poor rate of exchange if settling your bill in dollars or credit card. Restaurant prices are in Tanzanian shillings. Good room service breakfast as we had an early flight and were too early for restaurant breakfast." See all these reviews: 10n in Tanzania
