"Ocean Eleven, Hermanus"

2 nights Arrived 11 Mar 2008
"After Bishopscourt I personally didn't like Oceans 11 at all, although my husband thought differently.

After Khadila's personal attention at Bishops Court I felt Oceans 11 probably aspired to the same level, but hadn't got there yet.

Hermanus was my very least favourite part of the trip - I didn't like the town one tiny bit and felt - a little like the hotel - that it was aspiring to more than it could provide." See all these reviews: 7n in South Africa

"Ocean Eleven review"

2 nights Arrived 2 Jan 2008
"A lovely guesthouse in an excellent location- great sea views and just far enough from town to provide a pleasant walk to and from dinner. Free sherry very welcome when we arrived with our broken down car!

Rooms very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts excellent. Two minor criticisms - staff told us whales were still about when this wasn't the case, and we had to share the bed with quite a few ants on the second night - this wouldn't be all that surprising in the bush but a bit of a shock in Hermanus! Staff were horrified when we told them in the morning so we suspect this is a very unusual occurrence!!

There is no laundry facility- however many guests only stay one night so there is probably not much demand for it." See all these reviews: 2n in South Africa

"beautiful home fromwhich to watch whales"

2 nights Arrived 7 Sep 2007
"Our only problem was finding the house - the trick is to look for road names on the kerb, not further up.

then the house and rooms were beautiful, spacious, airy and comfortable. We were treated like royalty.

We knew we were off to a good start when the first half hour we had seen a whale and her baby after drinking a free sherry!!

Lots of whales. Then our last morning watching whales breaching while eating a sumptous breakfast." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 5n in South Africa; 1n in Zambia
