"Drafty Hotel in good location"

2 nights Arrived 10 Nov 2009
"Another outdoor room on the roof alongside the swimming pool. Again the weather did not help as we had to block the door with paper to stop the rattling during the night from high winds.

Hotel room adequate had parking for the car and the restaurant across the road was so good we ate there both nights.
Just around the corner from Walker Bay with fantastic views of the whales." See all these reviews: 11n in South Africa

".... and more whales"

2 nights Arrived 25 Sep 2009
"We were here during the Whale Festival so loads of signs up inviting you to "have a whale of a time". Totally different experience to Plettenberg Bay - town centre felt much more compact, packed with people due to the festival, atomosphere reminiscent of a British seaside town in some ways. Good fun - we really enjoyed it. Numerous whale sightings.

Ate at two really good restaurants - Fisherman's Cottage and Le Mediteree (or something like that!).

We weren't very impressed with food at breakfast, served at the nearby Burgundy restaurant, but that's a minor detail." See all these reviews: 2n in Zambia; 2n in South Africa
