"Ocean Eleven review"

2 nights Arrived 2 Nov 2010
"The location of Ocean Eleven on the cliff top is spectacular, we were lucky enough to see whales from our room and also during breakfast on our final day.

The rooms were modern, clean and airy with a private seating area overlooking the bay." See all these reviews: 9n in South Africa

"Not enamoured"

3 nights Arrived 17 Sep 2010
"Grey and lacking character. Room bare with no curtains and creaky laminate floor. Breakfast adequate and room had pleasant views.
Manager/owner was rather untidy and scruffy
Parking not easy and help needed to open gates
Nearby Harbour Vue guest house appeared to be much better and was confirmed by people we met
We would suggest you use other options in the future" See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana; 3n in Zambia; 3n in South Africa

"Ocean Eleven review"

2 nights Arrived 17 Oct 2009
"Staff were very accommodating, providing advice on restaurants and help booking a boat trip. A wonderful place to stay, with views out to sea, and whale watching a matter of steps away.

We took a boat trip whale watching on our first day, but the following day we were able to see wonderful whale displays from the cliff path. Stunning breakfast room, with great views and food." See all these reviews: 12n in South Africa

"Ocean Eleven -- Hermanus"

1 night Arrived 5 Oct 2009
"Just a one night stop here in Hermanus as we had come to see the whales.
Very large room complete with fruit bowl and snacks at no charge.
A very good breakfast.
Located right on the cliff path and an easy stroll into town.
For a geat fish meal visit Fisherman's Cottage" See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

"Ocean Eleven review"

2 nights Arrived 26 Sep 2009
"Ocean 11's position is its ace card: straight onto the clifftop path, easy walking distance to Hermanus.

The room was elegant, spacious and comfortable. Owing to heavy rain on our arrival day, we were cold and wet and didn't appreciate the shower facility out in the entrance hall where the wind was whistling .... but the complementary decanter of sherry made up for this !

Boat for whale watching cancelled owing to poor weather !" See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 2n in South Africa

"Ocean Eleven review"

2 nights Arrived 5 Aug 2009
"The location was perfect, on the first morning we walked out of the diningroom to see the tail of a whale disappearing into the sea- wonderful!

The breakfast was beautifully presented, a table full of prepared fruit, grapefruit, passion fruit, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, melon, kiwi fruit, mango, guava, pawpaw looked delicious and was delicious - again a plentiful supply of yoghurt, cereal, cold meats and cheeses. The most amazingly orange egg yolks and the toasted bread 'popped' in your mouth.

The room was large, modern and tasteful with a TV and armchairs as well as a fridge. Patio doors opened out on to the swimming pool, a restricted sea view which they apologised for, but we were very happy!" See all these reviews: 24n in Namibia; 11n in South Africa

"Whale watching without leaving your room"

4 nights Arrived 3 Nov 2008
"We arrived to be greated with "The whales know you are coming and are in the bay performing". For the next three days we did nothing but watch whales and eat - or so it seemed.

A very comfortable and spacious room ideal for watching the whales and very friendly and helpful staff." See all these reviews: 14n in South Africa; 9n in Namibia
