"Great Lodge"
We were very fortunate to have Thomas be our guide to the Park. The whole day was magic from sunrise to sunset.
I will not forget the spectacular lunch that was set before us as we looked on the apricot colored sand dunes and the Springbok wandering through the fields." See all these reviews: 14n in Botswana; 12n in Namibia

The rooms were great - very private with good space, and an outside tub to stargaze. The food was very good and the staff warm and welcoming." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana; 4n in South Africa; 2n in Zambia

We travelled with Angula from the Lodge into Sossusvlei and had a memorable day amongst the dunes, finished with a fabulous picnic lunch under the trees. Highly recommended." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia
"Hoodia Desert Lodge review"
We really enjoyed the sundowner on our first night, watching the sun set over the Namibian desert and then seeing the stars at night - just magic.
Great access to the desert and the dunes which we climbed. And one of the most memorable parts (from a most memorable holiday) was the balloon ride over the desert with our pilot Dennis - not only highly skilled but full of fascinating stories and then it all ended with a champagne breakfast in the dunes!" Extremely friendly owners and staff and high quality food and drink. The sundowner trip was truly magnificent. A great location on a small kopjie near the camp, lovely food and drink and stunning views. Not cheap at N$250 per head, but worth it. We didn't go on their Sossusvlei trip as we had already been. I'm sure it would have been very good, however N$1350 a head seems incredibly steep seeing as Sesriem is so close to the camp.
Would highly recommend as a base for Sesriem/Sossusvlei." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

We could easily have spent another day here just walking freely on the local hills. I didn't use the swimming pool but i might have been keener to do so if there had been a changing cubicle near the pool." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia
"Hoodia Desert Lodge review"
We were in cabin 1 which was the last cabin in the row and very peaceful, with fabulous views. The food was excellent. We had a day out with the guide to the dunes, which included an amazing lunch out in the wilds.
Highly recommended." See all these reviews: 20n in Namibia

Dinner was a very civilised affair well presented and served at a suitable pace and at a time to suit you with well spaced and nicely laid tables. Breakfast was equally enjoyable and delicious.
Although not promoted as such there were plenty of walks to devise for yourselves along the riverbed, access drive and round a hill. It was nice to hear the night activity of the wildlife in the riverbed and admire the stars from the very well appointed patio." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa
