"Had a lovely time on our excursion, led by Paulus. Showed us tracking of animals and other creatures in the sand dunes. Amazing driving on the way to Dead Vlei, where we went up along the dune to the right instead of the very crowded one. "Very knowledgeable guide (wildlife from smallest to biggest; ecosystem; as well as an amazing teaching on population, geology, geography, climate of Namibia to explain the forming of the dunes and the vlei).

We had our time to climb on one of the dunes overlooking Dead vlei, and then enjoyed a amazing luxury picnic lunch experience, quietly sitted at a white-clothed table under a tree.

"Sossusvlei is something of a Namibia must see, which does mean there's a bit of a rush for the park gates when they open. The only time in Namibia we felt any concentration of tourists.

The huge dunes are very impressive and Deadvlei, is a photographers dream (wear oranges or bright red to make your photos really pop).

"The included trip to Sossusvlei was excellent, including time to climb dune 45 and extended time to take in the splendour of Deadvlei.

The great lunch laid out under a shady tree before we returned to Hoodia was particularly memorable as we were the only guests and it was our wedding anniversary!
