"A fantastic trip, which exceeded our high expectations. We did a lot of driving of course, which is part of the adventure, roads were good.

Its had to think what we would have done even slightly different.

We came back full plans for next time."

Sossusvlei is something of a Namibia must see, which does mean there's a bit of a rush for the park gates when they open. The only time in Namibia we felt any concentration of tourists.

The huge dunes are very impressive and Deadvlei, is a photographers dream (wear oranges or bright red to make your photos really pop).

Very nice lunch and chat with Lucas our guide, then a visit to Sesriem Canyon, which is not far away but quite modest.

"This made a change from travelling between lodges, though the walking trail which they offer, would have been more what we needed.

We had two nights and it takes a 1.5hour rough drive from where you leave your vehicle to the camp, the activities were a short attractive walk in the morning, followed by a 5 hour break, then a sunset drive for 4hours."
