I visited Namibia and 4 other countries between 11 Jun 2011 and 27 Jul 2011
"It was amazing !!! 6 weeks travelling through Africa with a 6 year old child is not everyone's ideal holiday but due to the perfect recommendations given by Maruska and the closeness with which she worked with my husband ensured we had a relatively hassle free, stress free, safe journey.

The travel book was also a great guide as it was up to date and relevant

We would (and have ) fully recommended your company and specifically Maruska to everyone we met !

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

"Trip of a life time!"

I visited Mozambique between 11 Aug 2010 and 29 Aug 2010
"Thank you Expert Africa for putting together an excellent itinery for this trip.

I found Lucy Copson to be very professional, listening carefully to what we wanted and organising an outstanding trip. Our trip was 18 days, included 10 flights across 4 countries, there were numerous transfers, and everything went life clock-work, for a trip to Africa that is worth every penny!

Thank You!" Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 3 on a Mozambique holiday

I visited Mozambique and 2 other countries between 9 Aug 2010 and 23 Aug 2010
"This was an amazing honeymoon, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the beaches in Mozambique before heading into the Botswanan delta to two Kwando camps and then onto Tongabezi near Livingstone.

Expert Africa organised the whole thing brilliantly and are incredibly helpful, professional and flexible. Thank you." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 6 on a Mozambique holiday

"Zambia 30 years on!"

I visited Zambia and 2 other countries between 23 Jul 2009 and 12 Aug 2009
"Zambia surpassed all expectations.

I wanted to go back to Zambia where I grew up and give my family a positive snapshot of the country. The Victoria Falls is indeed a natural wonder of the world and the helicopter flight along the gorges was thrilling.

Robin Pope Safaris were exceptional to the point that nothing else measured up! We saw all the game we had hoped to see and discovered the magnificent birds of Southern Africa. It was a pleasure to be in the company of such wonderful guides and staff.

My husband and youngest daughter are now converts to river fishing, having enjoyed it so much on the "Mighty Zambezi!"

Mozambique, Bazuruto Island was disappointing because of the activity staff's failure to engage with us. I would not recommend the resort to people who are not going to sunbathe all day." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 8 May 2008 and 25 May 2008
"Overall, a very enjoyable and well organised trip. Because we had been so well briefed by Susannah, we were not disappointed.... as expected,we had to look for game (that tall grass is just so amazing - it hid a whole herd of buffalo!) and despite some reservations about Kwara (which was not our preferred choice but availability was low when we booked) we were pleasantly surprised by Kwara.

Selinda was lovely and Azura was superb. My husband said that he would remember the view of the Zambezi from Tongabezi forever........it was very special." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari

"Excellent honeymoon from Expert Africa"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 28 Oct 2007 and 13 Nov 2007
"We were very happy with our honeymoon from Expert Africa. All the tinest details were attended to so that when we arrived in africa everyone knew where we were going and when to meet us/when our flights would be there extra. We enjoyed all of it.

From the first monent we spoke to Expert Africa we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and our requests were listened to - plus the advice we were given was excellent. It was welcoming to know that when we went to Linyanti camp someone from Expert Africa had also visited and had written very positive comments in the guest book!

Our only negative was that Bazzaruto Lodge had not been our first choice and that it was in fact the 3rd - but this was simply due to the cyclone earlier in the year and the booking availability. Other hotels were supposed to be closed however when in MZB we realised that some were open and wished we had re-considerd to make sure we were at the best option prior to coming - reason being we would have loved spa facilties for a 5 day relax but this was not meant to be." "Very, very good. I still cannot believe how smoothly it all went. Apart from Epacha Lodge ( a night necessitated by lack of accommodation elsewhere) it was all at exactly the level that we wanted - miraculously Tracey somehow managed to discern this from my ramblings!

Only during the last couple of days of the holiday did I notice that mobile and home numbers are provided for Expert Africa staff - amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much." Read full review: 29 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip

Dugong Lodge

Dugong Beach Lodge is a stylish property on a remote stretch of beach just south of Vilanculos. For the level of luxury you get here, this is a very good value lodge albeit not actually on the Bazaruto Islands.
