Excellent honeymoon from Expert Africa
Botswana and 2 other countries between 28 Oct 2007 and 13 Nov 2007
From the first monent we spoke to Expert Africa we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and our requests were listened to - plus the advice we were given was excellent. It was welcoming to know that when we went to Linyanti camp someone from Expert Africa had also visited and had written very positive comments in the guest book!
Our only negative was that Bazzaruto Lodge had not been our first choice and that it was in fact the 3rd - but this was simply due to the cyclone earlier in the year and the booking availability. Other hotels were supposed to be closed however when in MZB we realised that some were open and wished we had re-considerd to make sure we were at the best option prior to coming - reason being we would have loved spa facilties for a 5 day relax but this was not meant to be."

Sindabezi
"Great start to our honeymoon at Sindabezi"

Linyanti Bush Camp
"Great Safari at Linyanti"
The managers (inlcuding the new managers) were equally friendly and keen to hear about your game drives when you returned. Before the holiday we were concerned about what food might be provided on safari - we need not have worried at all - the food at Linyanti was lovely and lots of it!"

Shinde Camp
"Shinde"
The guides, whilst have the most amazing spotting skills, lacked enthusiasm that we had seen in our earlier camp... The food at Shinde was good but felt the dining setting was a little too formal. We loved the fact there was a pool which meant we could relax in the afternoon between game drives - although it did lack sunloungers and towels for the numbers that wanted to use it.
Shinde excelled in offering a number of different type of activities - mokoros, motoboat trips, walking safaris. The champagne and cheese platter we received as a honeymoon treat was a lovely touch."

Southern Sun OR Tambo, South Africa (this camp has since closed)

Bazaruto Lodge
"5 relaxing days at Bazaruto lodge"
We wish there had been spa facilities but realise that due to issue of the cyclone earlier in the year this ended up being our 3rd choice hotel.
Rooms were kept clean and the service we received was good. We loved our private breakfast and also the dinner outside our room together with our own camp fire - thanks to the honeymoon package."
The guides were knowledgeable and the chefs were excellent.
We do not believe it was part of the planned package but we were upgraded to the Bird House at Tongabezi for our second night - such a great spoil including Forbes our personal valet. Highly recommend a stay here!"
