"Functional & convenient airport hotel"

"A 40 minute wait was required as no room was immediately available despite the late evening check in. We did not seem to be the only ones in this situation. A clean, functional and formulaic hotel, but very convenient for the airport."

"Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport overnight"

"The Crowne Plaza Nairobi hotel near the airport was a comfortable and modern place to overnight before our early safari flight the next morning. The rooms were spacious, clean and had all the amenities we need to recover form the long day flight from London.
The staff were very helpful and gave us an upgraded room as our rooms were not both available by the time we arrived. We had been delayed at the airport getting through immigration, with long queues for both e-visas and especially the airport visas line. Note for return visit - it is worth getting the e visas in advance!
Our late dinner at the hotel was part of their 24 hour service - straightforward meal which was perfect for what we needed.
The morning transfer was smooth and everyone was very helpful. Our driver from Southern Cross Safari company was the local agent meeting us; we had a clean, comfortable minibus. We had to keep an eye on which luggage trolley our baggage was being loaded onto because many people were leaving for Wilson Airport to go on safari, or going on other trips to Nairobi, the beach, etc." See all these reviews: 8n in Kenya

"Good choice for overnight in Nairobi as it is in the airport complex and so avoids a lot of travel hassle. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Avoid the packed breakfast - breakfast in your room by room service is probably a better bet."

"The hotel felt secure with controlled gates baggage and personal scanning and the room was clean and served the purpose.
we had time to kill on our return and went back to the hotel for dinner as we didn't know where else to go.

"A very brief stay but all staff we came in contact with were very helpful and welcoming. Room comfortable and bathroom clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Great location when you fly in one night and have an early for a domestic flight the next morning."

"The Crowne Plaza was excellent. I stayed there one night and check in was quick and the room very attractive and comfortable.
I then spent the early evening there waiting for my late flight. They couldn't have been more respectful, friendly and helpful even though I was in grubby safari gear and not an overnight guest (including letting me use their computer to check into BA). My supper in the café was very good.
Spending the spare time there was extremely useful since the hotel is inside the airport's security area so I was able to go through the airport's perimeter security checks outside peak time - once you are in the hotel you just need to use its transfer van (which was easy and reliable) for the few minutes to get to the terminal."
