The Mara is huge and takes some time to explore. So… explore...our kitchen will prepare and pack breakfast and/or lunch to go - you do not have to rush back to camp to eat. You can have it when you like, where you like in a 'private bush restaurant' with mind blowing views.

Cultural Visits and Conservation.

The Maasai people are a fascinating and beautiful nomadic tribe who are proud of their traditions and heritage. Their passion and love for the land and wildlife is notable, they are the true spirit of the Masai Mara and love to show our guests their way of life. Offbeat Ndoto works very closely with our local community, visiting these villages is a morning or afternoon well spent. There is a charge of $30 per person which goes directly towards conserving their magical way of life.

We are eco-friendly camp powered by the sun, we use no plastic water bottles, source as much as we possibly can locally, and our furniture is made from reclaimed wood.

1 of 1

Game Drives

The main reason for coming to the Mara is to see her world famous wildlife. From the big cat populations, the wildebeest migration and so much more. In our custom designed Land Cruisers your Maasai guide will help source photos you will want to show to everyone you know.

1 of 1

Guided Bush Walks

Experience the Mara from foot - you will be escorted by a local Masai guide who grew up on the land herding cattle and knows it intimately. The small five and other interesting facts will be revealed that you often miss in the vehicle. Often an excuse to burn off some calories from the delicious food in camp!

1 of 1

Hot Air Balloon Rides

We use Governors Camp Balloon Safaris who have the most amazing route down the Mara River. An early morning start, a coffee and away you fly. Taking off as the sun rises you have the most beautiful silent experience floating over the Mara River and plains below. A totally different perspective of the beauty of the Mara and her wildlife. All capped off with a hearty champagne breakfast where you land. An unforgettable flight.

Thanks to Governors Balloon Safaris for the use of their images.

Photographic Safaris and Wildebeest Migration

Being surrounded by some of the world’s most iconic wildlife and situated within the vast Mara North Conservancy, Offbeat Ndoto is the camp to stay at if you dream of capturing that once in a lifetime moment on camera. Far from the bigger camps and lodges, we offer exclusivity, limited numbers of cars and tourists and no overcrowding. This is why many professional photographers come and stay and guide groups with us. We are also within easy reach of the major Wildebeest Crossing points.

1 of 1

Private Charters and Helicopter Safaris

We can fly you in on a private charter for the ultimate in exclusivity.

And we can organise the ultimate flying safaris in a heli. Go for a day expedition or use one to travel in and out of the Mara. They can land in camp and take you where you like.

Thanks to Tropic Air, Richard Roberts and Helipops Ltd for the images.
