Entumoto: picture gallery

Entumoto is located on a wooded hillside and is unusual among tented camps in having a pool.
The camp is spaciously ranged across a bushy valley in the hills of Siana Group Ranch.
Some of the paths around the camp have been left in a natural condition…
…while others have been paved in a rustic fashion.
You'll be shown to your tent on arrival and, after dark, always escorted around the unfenced camp.
A strong feature of Entumoto is its nicely located, but unheated pool.
It's a delightful spot to while away the hot hours of the afternoon, before a late game drive.
The central part of the camp has a comfortable, traditionally styled lounge tent…
…and a nearby 'mess tent' where most of Entumoto's quite creative meals are served.
The tents at Entuomoto are large and very well spaced, though this does make for fairly long walks.
All the tents are mounted on very permanent, concrete plinths…
…with quite high drop-offs, making supervision of small children particularly important.
The tents are very large, with ample veranda space…
…very roomy, well-furnished bedrooms…
…and extremely spacious and stylish bathrooms…
…with good showers…
…and designer toiletries.
The showers are relatively private…
…as are the flush loos.
Other furnishings have a retro-Swedish feel…
…matched with a high level of comfort and informality…
…and there's plenty of clothes-hanging space.
The deck chairs and recliner on the veranda give you a wonderful view across the valley.
The two family tents are simply enormous…
…with plenty of room for a party of close friends…
…and some of the biggest bedrooms we've ever seen in a tented camp…
…usually set up as a twin at one end and a double at the other…
…each with a bathroom to the rear…
…and a large lounge area between the two bedrooms, complete with a working fireplace.
As in the standard tents, the views and bush atmosphere from the verandas are excellent.
