"Superb Kicheche Laikipia"

3 nights Arrived 30 Jan 2020
"Having stayed at the other Kicheche Camps in the Mara Conservancies many times I was looking forward to staying at their fourth camp and it lives up to their very high standards. They took the unseasonably wet weather in their stride and made sure our stay was unforgettable for all the right reasons. Peter was a great driver/guide and we all enjoyed his company. Great wildlife sightings including good birds and great hospitality all round. Excellent food and great location." See all these reviews: 6n in Kenya

"Stunning introduction to a safari"

2 nights Arrived 20 Jan 2020
"This was our first safari and whilst our expectations were high they were exceeded in every respect. The camp, and the welcome we received were wonderful. Andrew our host, with whom we had some great conversations; our guide Josphat was incredible, so knowledgeable about every last small bird and great mammal, so easy to talk to, funny as well as easy to get along with. No doubt our response to the wild life within the conservancy would have been the same whatever our camp and guide was like, but they made the experience so much more enjoyable. And our respnse was Wonder, It wasn't simply the extraordinary variety and number of animals and birds: it was the coexistence of them. Plains full of almost every conceivable African animal and bird mixing and getting on with there lives regardless of the other beasts nearby: buffalo, elephant, impala, zebra, warthog, hyena, jackal, baboons, various gazelle, any and all of them may be seen at the same time or within minutes. We couldn't believe the wonder of it all." See all these reviews: 7n in Kenya

"Fantastic Camp and Staff"

3 nights Arrived 5 Oct 2019
"This camp is situated in a very accessible area for prime wildlife viewing. The conservancy experience is an uncrowded area with great access to multiple species.

We following 5 lions defending their territory for most of a morning under the most beautiful sky with patches of clouds and stunning landscape. Our guide, Peter, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we were seeing. the camp staff lead by Louise and Andrew are warm, friendly and happy to help with anything you might need.

The food was absolutely delicious!" See all these reviews: 7n in Kenya; 3n in Tanzania

"Kicheche Laikipia review"

3 nights Arrived 30 Aug 2018
"Excellent food, both in flavour and presentation.

Another excellent guide who was very knowledgeable. Saw black and white rhinos. Shared a bush breakfast with an elephant! Also exciting chase involving wild dog.

Very comfortable tents including home comforts - hot water bottles very welcome. Very cold in morning and after sun down, need lots of layers.

Watched lions mating." See all these reviews: 12n in Kenya
