"Good basic airport lodging.

Arrived late about 1:30am; stayed until picked up the next morning for Wilson.

Good food and service."

"Wonderful place - public spaces beautiful with Kilimanjaro in the distance. Had massages =again excellent. Food and drinks perfect with fresh produce grown in their garden. Staff was attentive and perfect (hate to keep using that word, but…).

Guide - our guide was John who excelled in his knowledge of all= animals, geography and people. We had the luxury to having him to ourselves-no other people in truck. Went everywhere- excellent driver."

"Another great camp. Not as dramatic as Amboseli in geography = no Kilimanjaro, but made up for it in other ways. In a conservancy that protects rhinos but many other animals are present.

Food and drink were good; staff was very attentive and efficient. Think there are only 6 rooms/tents, so not quite as fancy as Tortillas but nice.

Guide - had Peter as our very excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and fearless in going after the perfect view point of an animal."

"We were driven to Sambaru and the Elephant Bedroom from Laikipia. Saw a very diverse area = vast greenhouses then incredible dryness in villages near the Camp on the drive. Camp is on a river - not too much water, but enough to attract some animals.

Had a very good guide- Julius - but not a lot to see. Compared to the first two and then Mara North, this was the least attractive and had the lowest number of animal sightings.

"This was absolutely the best of the four camps we stayed in while in Kenya! Andrew, the manager, has put together a tremendous staff along with a great chef and fresh garden grown produce.

The rooms were beautiful with elephant sightings each day. The public spaces were accommodating and welcoming. Plus it has the great advantage of being in a wet area, with some light rains while we were there. As a result everything is green and the animals are thriving.

Guide - Saruni was amazing = totally fearless in going up hill sides, fording streams to get the best viewing of a great assortment and quantity of animals. His knowledge level was also first rate.

"We arrived about 1pm from Wilson, stayed the night and left the next day at about 8pm for the international airport and the 11pm BA flight. In Nairobi National Park, so a rough road to enter. But, the place itself is amazing. Relaxed, comfortable public rooms; our room was gorgeous in all ways- on the same level as the bar/dining area.

Food and drink was perfect. We had lunch at the guest house that you reach with a funicular. We were the only ones in the hotel and the manager invited is to use the whole place. Also had a massage-again excellent.

Did a brief game drive - no elephants, but saw rhinos, ostriches and Crocodiles - we hadn’t seen them elsewhere. Limited number of animals.

Would recommend if you have a time In Nairobi before a flight."
