"The trip was amazing.
This is our second safari with Expert Africa and we will book again with you when we return.
Our experiences with Kwando Safaris have been outstanding, not only because of the quality of their concessions, but most especially because of their wonderful staff. "The entire safari experience was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone who has an interest. The level of service throughout was superb and the access to animal life across a wide range of species was truly impressive. Each camp where we stayed treated us with great respect and delivered a five-star experience in a very rustic setting. It was extremely relaxing to be offline without access to our modern digital world for an extended period. We loved meeting with the other guests, and had many lovely interactions while dining on superb and varied meals - many of which were locally sourced. Bravo!
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service: One small suggestion regarding your trip planning materials - Americans like checklists rather than text. In future, you may want to consider breaking some of these materials down for ease of access.

"Finally we got to Botswana"

"The (waterproof) ponchos with built in fleeces that all camps provided were excellent - saved bringing an extra layer.
We all used wooly hats and gloves first thing so thank you for the advice. The glass water bottles they provided were heavy and breakable so we did not use them. Laundry was efficient. Ridiculously small wash basins at Tau pan meant it was difficult to wash your "smalls". Expert Africa's beautiful travel wallet was left behind - with only 15 kgs allowed did not need another 250gms! All in all, a very special anniversary trip which was well planned and in the correct order.
Tau pan gave us a bottle of champagne and Splash organised a special last night anniversary dinner for the 4 of us and we made sure Moz, our guide, joined us too as we got on so well with him.
We enjoyed the singing and dancing at all the camps - many of the songs were directed at us personally.

We have received personalise assistance and guidance throughout all aspects of our holiday. We cannot praise Maruska enough. She has been at the end of emails and phone calls ready to answer all questions and give us help. Thank you Maruska.
All the bookings and flights worked well and we cannot fault the organisation in any way.
The company website gave great information, helping us to make our choices of camps to our needs and the camps that we _booked_ lived up to expectations.

There are certain camps that I would suggest for a longer stay of three nights. One being Dinaka but this might be dependent on what an individual was looking for. My suggestion is based on us being keen photographers.
It could also be noted that a bush walk at one camp could be quite different from another. Dinaka is our example in this as the walk is done by a Sen bushman. This had more appeal to us than the walks at other camps. So a ‘what to expect’ from this activity could be useful.
Noting the different types of vehicles in use is a minor point but useful. When we moved from Kwando camps to Ker Downey camps I failed to notice that the side of the truck (where you step in) had a lower opening. This meant that I did not have some items, including my feet, clear of the floor surface when we went through water meaning that my feet and the company blanket (which was hanging down over my legs) got soaked." I visited Namibia and 3 other countries between 29 Aug 2022 and 27 Sep 2022
"We initially booked this trip with Expert Africa in late February/early March, 2020. Then Covid hit and the world went into lockdown. Maruska was our contact person from the start, making the reservations and setting up the itinerary for us.
We went through many ups and downs over the course of these two years, never sure if indeed the trip would materialize. Initially we postponed the September, 2020 trip to 2021, but it still did not seem wise to go then, so we postponed it to August/September, 2022. If we could have gotten most of our deposit returned, we would have cancelled the entire trip, with all of the continued worries and anxiety that Covid was inflicting on the world.
As Expert Africa has a firm policy of not returning deposits, we postponed the trip again to 2022. We are so glad we did! It all turned out fabulous, and thankfully, we remained healthy.
Throughout this long postponement, with the changes involved, Maruska was always exceedingly polite, understanding, and respectful of our worries and concerns. She did an extraordinary job arranging our trip, which involved four different countries, multiple flights, and many different camps.
The organization was outstanding and everything was seamless.

"This was another great trip from Expert Africa. It was originally supposed to happen in 2021, but it was well worth waiting for.
The way that Lucy organised the order of our visits, and the choice of camps that she recommended was excellent. Everything ran very smoothly and we saw so much game at the first camp we were almost spoiled for the rest! The camps all had different features and we enjoyed the different experiences at all of them. I had an ambition to see Wild Dogs which was fulfilled, and the Chobe NP probably has more elephants than you could possibly imagine.
The Guide at Linyanti Bush Camp rather let the side down, and I have elaborated in our detailed feedback on this camp, but that shouldn't detract from it being a lovely camp with great camp staff.
The only slight criticism is that we hadn't expected the ground to basically be sand which meant very, very bumpy rides, and that we didn't have the best footwear. This was very different ground to other safari venues we have visited - but we managed okay - might just be worth forewarning folk if they've not been to Botswana before.
Overall a fantastic holiday, and we shall of course go with Expert Africa on future journeys to that great continent.
