"My Oct 2022 trip"

I visited Zambia between 6 Oct 2022 and 23 Oct 2022
"A wonderful trip including returns to old favourite camps and exciting newcomers. Remote Africa Safaris, as ever, did not disappoint and their new camp Takwela is a great addition to their circuit.

Despite many trips to Luangwa this was only my second visit to Lower Zambezi, and I was quite blown away by the density of wildlife and the beautiful scenery. The atmospheric Winterthorn forests make a stunning backdrop for photography.

Thanks to Claire for the tireless rearranging of multiple trips over the last 2 years!" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zambia safari

"My Oct 2022 trip"

I visited Zambia between 4 Oct 2022 and 13 Oct 2022
"We finally made our trip after having to delay it for a year due to Covid. Lucy was really helpful in re scheduling for us.

The trip was brilliant - the lodges, the game sightings, the organisation were all top notch. Sitting here looking out of a widow on the grey sky and lashing of rain in the West Of Ireland I have wonderful memories of our first time in Zambia.

We will be back!" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari

"Holiday of a lifetime"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 2 Oct 2022 and 14 Oct 2022
"The holiday was perfect in every way. The accommodation chosen was exactly right for our interests and the right level of comfort/ activity. The covid guarantee added a level of reassurance. All the transfers worked perfectly. A bonus was that lodges were nowhere near full, so we nearly always had our own driver/guide.

We were very impressed that everyone had got the message that we were vegetarian, and even more impressed (and thrilled) that every lodge laid on a special diner, sparkling wine or cake as we had mentioned on the form we were celebrating a big wedding anniversary.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No - it's all great.

We have had several holidays with you and they've all been really good." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2022 trip"

I visited Zambia and 2 other countries between 24 Sep 2022 and 11 Oct 2022
"A very enjoyable holiday.

The only disappointment was the game viewing at Little Vumbura which was below exceptions, however the camp itself was great." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari

"Our best safari ever"

I visited Zambia between 24 Sep 2022 and 7 Oct 2022
"We had the most the most wonderful trip, far exceeding our expectations and leaving us keen to return.

As always Expert Africa's excellent website meant we were able to plenty of research ahead of talking to Claire who then ensured everything ran smoothly and with the least discomfort. A big thank you to her for suggesting our stay at Pioneer Camp at the start and organising for us to spend the afternoon at the Ciela Resort instead of the airport on our way home.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

None at all, we will certainly be using you again when we organise our next trip to Africa." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2022 trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 19 Sep 2022 and 8 Oct 2022
"This was one of our best ever holidays and we are so glad we were persuaded to go, having waited 2 deferred years and still had a few doubts about covid. In the event, everything was completely back to normal and we had a fantastic time.

The itinerary Claire put together could not be faulted, combining South Luangwa (which we previously visited in 2013) with Malawi, a new country for us. All the transfers between lodges worked like clockwork, and we would particularly single out Sidney for praise, who was our driver/guide in Malawi, and gave us lots of useful information about life in Malawi as we drove through villages and he also took us on a hike on the Zomba plateau).

Many of our game sightings were our best ever, with multiple close encounters with lion and leopard, several of them action packed." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"Return to Kaingo Camp and Mwamba Bushcamp"

I visited Zambia between 19 Sep 2022 and 30 Sep 2022
"The entire trip went smoothly including linking with our independently booked international flights through Expert Africa’s local ground agents, who were punctual and excellent in undertaking the transfers between the airport and hotel in Lusaka.

This was a return to the two Shenton Safaris camps after an interval of 5 years. Expert Africa showed great patience with our repeated rebookings and amendments after our initial booking in December 2019. No sign of any effect of Covid at the camps or at our hotel or at the airports in Zambia. Excellent camps and guides and good companionship amongst staff and guests. It was lovely to be back.

The game experience was wonderful, with plentiful sightings of big cats, ellies and other favourites, excellent friendly, small camps in an area where we only saw two other camps’ game drive vehicles. Part of this area of South Luangwa’s appeal is high density wildlife and low density visitors. A great experience and many highlights and happy memories." "Big birthday Africa trip 2022"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 18 Sep 2022 and 1 Oct 2022
"Despite travel to Zambia and Malawi being a little challenging (there are no direct flights, so lots of flights and transfers) we regarded all this as part of the adventure and worth it for the experiences we had.

Covid regulations weren't a problem, we were met and escorted at every stage of the journey and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We love the tiny planes between places and the balance of safari and beach chill-out was fantastic, a very special trip.

Claire was always responsive, pro-active and gave us great advice when planning the trip and answering my questions throughout.

As it was our joint birthdays, the special surprises each location laid on were just lovely and so kind.

I honestly believe EA are the very best at Africa holidays, the knowledge and experience of the advisors are exceptional and their advice is accurate." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2022 trip"

I visited Zambia between 16 Sep 2022 and 6 Oct 2022
"Our trip to Zambia was absolutely amazing in every way.

It was lovely to enjoy a break away, knowing that we were bringing much needed income back into the parts of the country where families are reliant on tourism.

The camp staff were all so welcoming and the wildlife sightings were exceptional.

We would thoroughly recommend Zambia as a destination for first time safari-goers as well as old hands. Just GO!

Lucy did the most incredible job to put together our itinerary and to adapt it as necessary due to the Covid postponements.

Thank you so much." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 21 on a Zambia safari
