A good overnight before our safari"

"Our second visit to Kaingo did not disappoint. The facilities are excellent, and the location on the river outstanding. Staff are very helpful, and willing to "go the extra mile" in ensuring that our trip was a memorable one.

The guide we had (Yoram, who is a birder) at both camps was outstanding, and we really appreciated Shenton Safaris allowing us to have the same guide for the entirety of our stay at the two camps.

We were also privileged to be allocated the "family room" for our stay at Kaingo.

The wildlife here was fantastic, with multiple sightings of the main mammal targets, and some great birds - including Pel's Fishing Owl (a special request) which we saw twice."

"Mwamba Bush Camp is one of our favourite places. The location, the staff and its waterhole were all excellent. Again, nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had the best stay possible.

The accommodation was excellent. The overnight in the star bed, with a bush dinner, was one of the highlights of the trip.

Wildlife sightings were, again, excellent with mammals and birds taking advantage of the camp, its surrounds and "the last waterhole"."

Food OK, but "Executive Chef" giving us the menu each evening is a bit pretentious and un-necessary."

"This bush camp is a really great to stay - surrounded by wildlife with a fantastic hide overlooking a permanent waterhole crowded with birds and animals.

Great guiding, very good food (possibly better than Kaingo)."
