"Latitude 15 review"

"A very comfortable base after flying in or coming back from the bush. The room is very spacious, Gardenside Deluxe, with an enormous bathroom and a nice terrace with two chairs.
There’s a very lively vibe here, a good mix of tourists, expats and local people who come for drinks or dinner or visit the several small businesses that hold office on the property. Also there’s a lot to see as the walls, nooks and crannies are full of artefacts, historical maps, etc.
The neighborhood is pleasant too, very green. We walked to a nearby shopping centre to check out the local businesses and also to a nice art gallery about 10 minutes away, people on the street are friendly and it all felt safe." See all these reviews: 16n in Zambia

"Hotel reasonably close to airport.
Bedrooms were very spacious, clean & comfortable. Air conditioning only available in the bedrooms.

"We arrived early, and our room was not ready yet. They asked us to wait out on the patio or to go ahead and wander around and see what the place was like. We were able to store our luggage behind the front desk. Shortly afterwards they came to us and said they had a room ready for us. There was a room ready for another couple, but that couple was not going to be in until late so they just swapped the rooms around and gave us the room that was ready.
After we got settled in, we went and sat in the garden. After a while, we had some tea and then it was lunchtime so we had lunch served to us in the garden also. The lunch was good we had calamari and tiki marsala. The early October weather was very nice mid 80s during the day and just a little cooler at night. Nice dinner outside with no mosquitos.
Nice clean and spacious room. Small balcony. Big bathroom with good shower. Both buffet and breakfast menu.
Breakfast included buffet choices and cooked-to-order menu. Lunch and dinner menus offered lots of delicious choices. Both indoor dining and outdoor (few flies and no mosquitoes). Roomy bar area with lots in indoor seating as well. Latitude 15 is great place to get on Africa time after a long flight.

"We really loved Latitude 15 -despite my injury: it's a great relaxing way to start trips into the "bush"-again, we would like to stay there for 1 x night in 2025 -it is a very stylish hotel with some wonderful art and sculpture around everywhere and is very smart and yet relaxed and cool."
