"Green and tranquil"
My room, Jacana, was huge and comfortable with its own private verandah overlooking the lagoon (sadly I didn't see any crocs or hlppos in it - even though I walked all round the lagoon and looked!). Great pressure in the shower, plentiful hot water. Comfy superkingsize bed with an electric blanket was a treat (I hadn't appreciated fully how chilly the nights can feel).
The staff were very attentive (without being intrusive) and looked after the guests very well. On site, I enjoyed the sunset cruise - my first sight of elephants and hippos in the wild, so exciting - and an informative dawn chorus walk. Kelly arranged two trips into Livingstone for me, firstly for a helicopter ride and then visit the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side (where Webby was excellent company), and a second trip into Livingstone for the railway and Jewish museums.
The food was also excellent and I was very kindly presented with a birthday cake (as well as wine in my room) to mark my 'big' birthday.
I'll never forget my introduction to 'African massage' - which was good preparation for the many others in the days after!" See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia
"Perfect end to our safari"
We enjoyed sunset and sunrise cruises on the Zambezi as well as a bird walk in the grounds with outstanding, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly guides.
Our visit to The Victoria Falls both in Zambia and Zimbabwe was perfectly organised to include a helicopter trip and perfect timing for rainbow photographs." See all these reviews: 10n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia
"The Farmhouse at Waterberry "
The staff are a ten, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Enjoyed every minute. Getting out on the river with our guide for a sunset cruise with gin and tonics in hand was a highlight, as was the tiger fishing trip.
Spent a day exploring Victoria Falls from here and again our guide was excellent. Don't bother eating at Olga's in Livingstone.
Animals sited: Hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebra, water buffalo, velvet monkeys, kudu, wart hog, impala, bush buck.
Birds sited: hornbill, bee eaters, tropical bou bou, cormorants, egrets, glossy ibis, hamer kop, kingfisher, meyer's parrot to name a few." See all these reviews: 3n in Botswana; 3n in Zambia
"Very relaxing spot on the mighty Zambezi"
We are very happy we chose to stay here, away from Livingstone, as it was an easy staging area for our visit to Victoria Falls, but far enough away to be truly relaxing.
Being out on the waters of the river was a wonderful experience and good way to see wildlife." See all these reviews: 6n in Zambia
"A wonderful family lodge - excellent service"
The swimming pool has a baby splash pool and the larger pool has a shallow end, separated from the main pool to keep little ones safe. The staff are excellent and the manamgement go oput of their way to help you in any way possible. They gave expert advice on a safari to Botswana for us and arranged a wonderful day torip to Chobe National park at the last minute (like 7pm the night before!) when we had a small hiccup with another company.
We couldn't receommend waterberry enough and would love to return." See all these reviews: 7n in Zambia
"Waterberry"
We loved Vic Falls, but surprised at how expensive the activities were. Viewing the Rhinos was $125 per person, for a very mediocre game drive. Owain and myself went and saw them, but it was too much for the rest of the family." See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia
"A great setting "
Room slightly small, but it had a large shower.
Early morning delivery of tray of hot water etc to make tea was very nice.
Arranged to eat with American friends we made at Muchenje, which was enjoyable. Ate outside not as cold as River Dance, but they did provide some coal fires!
Our driver/guide to Victoria waterfalls was great. He came prepared with ponchos, towels to dry our feet and of course drinks. We did not realise he would take us onto the road bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe, which enables you to get another view/perspective of the falls. The waIk over Knife Edge bridge was very wet due to the wind and high volume of water. I would recommend a chopper ride over the falls, but especially do an add on going down the gorge over the first seven or so rapids, the lighting is great and you get to see white water rafters as you skim low over the water. Got lots of shots of rainbows it was fantastic.
Good time had by all and a memorable excursion to end the holiday." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia; 1n in South Africa

The food was excellent and the service impeccable.
Not quite my idea of a bush camp, but an excellent location in which to relax." See all these reviews: 11n in Zambia; 2n in Zimbabwe
