Our August 2018 South Luangwa safari
Zambia between 6 Aug 2018 and 17 Aug 2018
"This was a truly fantastic holiday. It was our first family safari and it exceeded all expectations.
The guides were superb at all 3 lodges ,allowing us to spend time watching animal behaviour. We learnt a huge amount about both the environment and the wildlife, both plant and animal. The accommodation and food couldn't have been better. We really felt we experienced Zambia.
Robin Pope safaris staff were friendly, welcoming and great fun to be with. Brilliant holiday.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Can't think of a single improvement - it all went so well.
Thank you."

"We had a brilliant few days at Nsefu.
The buildings are extremely comfortable and very interesting .The food was excellent and the guiding was superb.
Our guide ,Pious, located a pack of Hunting Dogs and we watched them hunt Warthogs and a hare . It was fascinating and exhilarating .
The walking safari gave us a different perspective again and was an experience not to be missed.
As with Nkwali the staff could not do enough for us."

"Great safari at Tena Tena"
2 nights
Arrived

"Tena Tena has a more remote feel than both Nkwali and Nsefu ,but the accommodation and food remained superb.
The guiding was informative and we were treated to another feast of exciting and interesting encounters with a huge variety of mammals and birds.
Our guide Chris was excellent .
We had some particularly interesting night drives where we saw some rare smaller animals such as honey badgers ,genets and bush babies."

Waterberry Zambezi Lodge
"A great stay at Waterberry"
2 nights
Arrived
14 Aug 2018
"The setting is spectacular and beautiful on the banks of the Zambezi. We stayed in a family lodge which was luxurious and incredibly spacious . The food was wonderful and the activities laid on by the lodge were excellent.
We visited the Victoria Falls followed by a very interesting walk round the markets in Livingstone. This was after we had had a short game drive in the Mosi-oa- Tunya game park. We walked to the white rhinos which was very special.
We also fitted in a moving and eye opening visit to the local village where Waterberry Lodge has funded a new school . It is a really inspirational project and rounded off our holiday perfectly.
The lodge has a very refreshing swimming pool to relax in between activities."

The staff were excellent throughout and Kiki's guiding was superb. We saw so much wildlife and learnt a huge amount .
On the game drives , it was lovely to be able to observe the animals' natural behaviour for long periods , while gaining the benefit of the guide's extensive knowledge.
The accommodation was luxurious and the food was lovely . It couldn't have been better."
