"My Jul 2022 trip"
I visited Zambia between 29 Jul 2022 and 10 Aug 2022
"This trip had been planned 3 years previously and delayed due to covid, so we had been looking forward to it for a long time and had high expectations. If anything these expectations were exceeded.
The quality of the accommodation was amazing. The mix of properties worked well and we really appreciated the change of scene when we moved from the South Luangwa to the Lower Zambezi.
Our teenage daughter found the communal dining very tiring so we might reconsider that if we travel again, however the rest of us enjoyed it.
It was an incredible holiday and so glad we used a company with so much first hand knowledge of the area.

"We love working with Maruska and Expert Africa! This is our 4th trip she has helped us with and she knows exactly what will be a good fit for us. She went above and beyond to make this trip as wonderful as it was. After 3 years of waiting and rebooking due to covid we can't thank Maruska enough for all of her efforts and patience. Can't wait to book our next safari with Maruska and the Expert Africa team.

"This is our second time travelling with Expert Africa and we were once again very happy with our experience. This is especially considering the many times we had to re-book due to Covid! EA worked hard to make sure we still got the experience we wanted and we are massively appreciative of that.
Megan gave excellent advice on where we should stay and was very patient with my many questions and changes of mind during planning. I always love that with EA you get one person who sticks with you from the first enquiry until you're safely home (In this case extra impressive when my first email exchange with Megan about this trip was Nov 2018!!).
I also appreciate that, unlike many travel agents, EA will happily communicate predominantly by email. This just suits me so much better around work and gives me a record of all the information for discussion with the rest of the group. The superbly detailed and easy to read information on the website is also a big plus.
Additional thanks to Chris, who responded personally when I had concerns about re-booking during Covid. It's also a lovely touch to get your guide book with a booking. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it was our only reading material for most of the trip so it's been read cover-to-cover and we're looking forward to a sequel!

"My trip to Zambia was stunning.
The itinerary was sympathetically worked out keeping my preferences and budget firmly in mind. Everything went like clockwork and I was able to relax and really enjoy the whole experience, despite the extra demands and requirements covid has brought to travel today.
Expert Africa was reassuring and encouraging and the trip exceeded all my expectations. The knowledge and information available through Expert Africa was invaluable in putting together a trip I shall never forget and right throughout the journey I knew Expert Africa had my back should something go wrong. This let me relax and thoroughly enjoy an unforgettable African holiday.

"My May 2022 trip"
I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 26 May 2022 and 16 Jun 2022
"This started out as a once in a lifetime trip but as we travelled further in to Africa we decided we will definitely go back!!!!
I would have packed a little differently than I did. Taking 2 pair of thermal underwear would have been useful, as our nights and morning game drives were quite cold. We also had banking issues along the way. Even though we had given our bank all of our travel information we still had issues at ATMs. We should have brought far more cash with us than we did.
The people, the environment, and the animals were incredible!! Africa is something everyone should experience if they can.
We will go back!!!!!

"My May 2022 trip"
I visited Zambia and 2 other countries between 8 May 2022 and 27 May 2022
"Really good trip overall. The transport issue mentioned in Namibia did not set the best tone and I admit to being worried about how the rest of the trip would go after that happened.
Everything was great from there on out, except until the very end when two persons in my traveling party tested positive for COVID at Splash Camp, Botswana. There were a lot of details that needed help and attention for these two persons when they were told they had to stay in Botswana an extra five days, at a camp with zero internet availability. The camp does have a satellite phone for emergencies. They reached out to Expert Africa to request help in making alternative travel arrangements and important notifications to people at home and received zero assistance.
This lack of helpful response did not set well with us as a group of five travelers having spent a combined (approximate) $50k between us on this once in a lifetime type of travel experience. So the beginning and end of the trip were not the most shining examples of Expert Africa’s service. But the majority of our trip was great. So take that information any way you wish. "As usual with Expert Africa every thing went like clockwork. We recommend you every time!
