"This was the first lodge on our trip and we were immediately made to feel very much at home.

The sunset cruise was a wonderful way to start our holiday. Pacal was a great driver/guide and looked after us on our visit to the falls. He adapted our visit to ensure we saw everything we wanted.

The food was excellent and we really appreciated the electric blankets and braziers during the cool evenings.

The setting of the lodge is stunning and very peaceful."

"We stayed in the Jackalberry Treehouse and loved it here. Although this camp is larger than others the service was exceptional.

Kennedy was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable but also good fun - we really enjoyed our time with him. Smart, the spotter was great too. Unfortunately our son was ill during our time here but the owners could not have been more helpful. They organised a doctor and were very flexible when we thought we might need to change our plans, fortunately we did not need to do so in the end.

The elephants and giraffe visiting the watering hole by the treehouse remains a highlight of our trip. Apparently the area around the entrance to the park is considered to be a very busy area but we didn't find it to be a problem at all."

"This was an incredible place to stay.

The views of the river from camp are wonderful. As this was our first safari, it took us a while to get used to the communal dining and interaction with other guests and owners/staff, we ended up loving it.

Loyd was a great guide. We very rarely saw another vehicle when we were out on a game drive and had some very memorable sightings, although no leopards.

We thoroughly enjoyed the walk that we did and the banana boat added to the sense of adventure."

"We loved this camp, the rooms are enormous and the staff are wonderful. We particularly enjoyed our chance to do some activities on the water after our stay in the South Luangwa.

We would highly recommend the canoeing trip, I was nervous but it was amazing! The scenery is beautiful and the sunsets over the hills were stunning.

The food was great, especially the chance to dine out of the camp.

We saw some wild dogs towards the end of our stay which was very special."
