"This was our first time back to Tafika in 7 years and it was as wonderful as our previous visits. Many of the staff and the guides were the same and it was like catching up with old friends for our entire stay. The accommodations, food (especially the lunch buffet with many of vegetable dishes provided by their own garden) and service were all terrific and the guiding was top notch. We had great sightings every day even though the bush was greener than usual due to the late rains this year. This is our 6th safari and we plan on returning to Tafika as often as possible!"

"This our second time to North Luangwa and our first time staying at Takwela. We were extremely lucky and had the camp to ourselves for all 3 nights. Alex was an amazing host and even better guide -- one of the best we've ever had. He was extremely flexible and we were able to drives, long walks and short walks during our stay and his stories kept us entertained the entire time. The location was beautiful and we were able to watch game come to river at all hours of the day right from our chalet as well as the common areas.

Speaking of the chalet, ours had a beautiful view of the Mwaleshi and Luangwa River confluence, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, indoor and outdoor seating areas and the best outdoor shower we've ever had. Takwela delivered beyond even our high expectations!"

"Avani has the best location in Livingstone for visiting Victoria Falls, solid food options (service can be a bit slow though) , and nice grounds. However, the rooms could be improved a bit-- it was dark, had a small bed and small leak in our shower. But, easy access to the falls, a great staff, and daily encounters with giraffe, zebra, impala, etc on the grounds still made it a memorable stay."
