"this is the most amazing camp - something out of the the Hobbit. so authentic loved it apart from the bugs but I guess that made the experience all the more real"

"This was my favourite stay and the density of wildlife was incredible. One gripe - I loved the fact that they are promoting women to be guides and we had a lovely guide Esta but she was very new and inexperienced.

Part of the reason to choose a high end camp is because of the guides and I would have expected the camp to have someone with her to help. Her English was not great and at times we did not understand what she said."

"wow loved this place. Henry our guide was just great - worked so hard to help us find game. both my son and I commented that he made this place so special.

"this place has the potential to be so amazing - location is incredible but... hated the plastic walls !!!! felt like Disney land - come on guys 5 stars?? we need authentic.
also the atmosphere in the lodge felt a bit off. our guide was very likeable but we both did not feel he was that engaged in it and he did not work that hard for us (my son had visited south lwanga before ) .
I am just not sure that this is 5 star yet. I was happy to leave tbh although my son did enjoy it - great wifi :)"

Incredible - second trek was unbelievable as chimps were moving on the forest floor.

They came so close and were so relaxed around us.

We saw mothers, fathers, babies and even mating!!!! didn't expect that !!!! :)

Food below average and staff kept asking us to go on a boat trip - annoying.... especially as got the hump when we refused!!!

Well what can we say other than the most incredible experience. We sat so near to a 40 stone silver back we could have reached out and touched him. He looked at us - we glanced at him. His power and beauty were awesome.

I loved watching them as a family - they each had their own personalities. The babies and juvenile were such fun too - I sat next to one who rolled on her back and sunbathed - so brilliantly human.

I was touched that we could get so close and worried that we do not appreciate how special these animals and our planet are
