"The Selous and Ruaha were wonderful destinations, we saw so much wildlife and animals were not as skittish as we expected.

The camps were both very good, we had a fantastic time at each. It was the fourth safari for my husband and myself and we loved it, and we had taken my nieces aged 12 and 14 for their first safari and they loved every single thing about it!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Having agonised about the cost, it was well worth it! The children had an amazing experience they've said they'll never forget. We think it worked well for us to have done the 'relaxing part' first so that we'd got over the flight and got into holiday mode, before we moved onto the safari which was tiring. We would have not appreciated the first day of safari if we'd gone straight there. I'd highly recommend Selous Impala camp.

We also felt we had excellent service from Expert Africa. We would be very happy to book with Expert Africa again.

The mix up of accommodation by Fumba was well handled by you, and in the end worked out better for us with an upgrade of room which we appreciated. We also appreciated your goodwill gesture of booking the Southern Sun for us to use prior to getting our night flight - the room there was excellent. Thank you." "This was our second trip to Tanzania having visited the Selous and the Ruaha two years ago. While that was a fabulous experience, this safari exploring Northern Tanzania was even more thrilling and exciting. We travelled to all three areas by road with the same driver which meant we got to see much more of the country and our driver got to know our interests very easily.

We loved the fact that we came across the wildlife just driving rather than going in search of something particular and following all the other jeeps. Had we flown to the different locations, we would not have seen the rhino being darted by rangers when she had ventured out of the safety of the Park! What a thrill that was!

We were impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the various washrooms in the National Parks and by the mobile phone signal which I could get in the Serengeti, but not in my home in Wales!!

We had a fabulous time. We saw over 80 different creatures, including the Big Five and two leopard and cheetah sightings and I'm sure we will find many more as we sift through our couple of thousand photos. Our driver was superb and the staff in the bush camps couldn't have been more helpful. Although we did feel slightly short-changed by the 'personal mobile camps' this in no way detracted from the overall experience, which we will never forget.

"Our trip was way beyond our expectations, every camp and hotel that we stayed at was unique and a lot of thought and planning went into selecting these. We 've had an unforgettable experience, the safari camps and Chumbe Island in particular were outstanding. We wouldn't change a thing!

Expert Africa, in particular Elizabeth, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when recommending which parks to visit and camps to stay at. Whenever I had a query, emails were responded to immediately by the staff. Our whole trip was seamless and we are so impressed with the service from Expert Africa. We will definitely use this company when travelling to Africa again and will recommend you to all our friends and family.

Liz at Expert Africa should be paid her weight in gold and given a free holiday. She rescued us when Nairobi airport caught fire and redirected us on another flight via Cairo. We were upgraded to business class, and provided with drivers to and from the airports as if it had all been planned weeks in advance. We arrived a mere few hours later than previously scheduled. "The trip, like its two predecessors, was absolutely brilliant. I just revel in the whole safari experience: the getting there, the camps, their locations, the inspirational people you meet, the excursions, the myriad wildlife encounters, quenching your thirst, filling your belly and the siestas afterwards. Then getting up in the afternoon and doing it all over again: two days in one!

When asked to score the holiday out of ten, our teenage daughter (whose commitment and subsequent enjoyment I was a bit trepidatious about before our arrival) gave it a firm nine and a half. When pressed about the missing half, she explained this was docked because of all the stops on safari at my insistence to look at 'stupid birds'. So you're pretty near perfect.

On our way to Kilimanjaro airport, we stopped off at the very green and plush Arusha Coffee House (?).

I presumed we were going to have a very pleasant buffet lunch there as we had been travelling non-stop for at least 24 hours and a sit down in very relaxing surroundings would have been most welcome.

Instead we were whisked off again with a school kid's packed lunch (complete with bag of crisps, Mars bar and a wedge of very 1970s Dairy Lea!).
