This is not a criticism - just a suggestion... There's a lot of literature sent out and it might be helpful if some of the salient points, such as baggage weight restrictions and the requirement for yellow fever innoculations, could be emphasised either by e-mail or over the phone once a booking is confirmed." We loved every bit of our time in the bush - wish it could have been a lot longer - we didn't really need a night in Dar at the end however.

"We had a wonderful safari in Tanzania and as usual returned home wanting to go back to Africa again.
The lodges were just as described in your brochure and we were extremely lucky with the game that we saw.
We wanted to see Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dogs and saw all of these and more.

Thank you very much to Ellie for her help and advice and patience with us changing our minds on a number of occasions before finalising the holiday.

"My third trip to Tanzania and Selous with Expert Africa.

The reserve is beautiful and relatively quiet - with plenty of animals and birds to see. Impala camp is well run, friendly and has an appropriate level of comfort and facilities for a bush holiday.

Thanks Claire for once again, understanding our needs and helping us plan the trip.

"I always think that the theory of relativity applies to holidays in that time seems to be SO much shorter in Africa than back in the reality of work and the cold of Canada.

It helps to use the expert services of the staff at Expert AFrica who know their business inside and out. We will definitely be back to Africa and will be using Expert Africa again.

"It was a very good holiday. Although we have not visited (yet) the North, the South of Tanzania is still devoided of mass tourism ( although one can already see it coming due to the Zanzibar/Mafia vicinity). Selous and Ruaha are really precious. Animals are still afraid/ cautious of Land Rovers.

Unfortunately, we did see some pouching activity at Mikumi (was reported to the camp manager and Park Rangers) and we sincerely hope that was just for bush meat.

"We had a very good trip and we are very happy to do it with Expert Africa. All the information that Eleanor gave us before our departure on the camps and the parks were very honest and correct. Maybe more clarification was needed on Mafia Marine park entrance fees, but it was also our mistake.

"Key in our overall experience to Tanzania on our first trip to Africa and our first safari was ELEANOR DUNKELS fondly refered to as Ellie by us. We could have chosen just about any company but we went with Expert Africa specifically because of Ellie.

We travel frequently but nothing like this holiday as we were celebrating 3 memorable birthdays. A trip such as this was expensive and extensive from the US and Ellie handled everything for us in not only a professional but a very personal way as well. Just wanted to advise specifically about shopping in the Arusha area of Tanzania. Not sure where to note this.

The cultural center outside Arusha town was fantastic in price, extensive merchandise, service and even offer shipping via DHL which has an office on site. Much easier and better priced than one could ever haggle for at other markets. I tried! Allow travelers a few hours to shop after safari bush flights on the way out of the country.
